We call that twice here in South Carolina. Look I understand you're worried because you don't have a QB and your coach has been banned from every buffet in SEC territory. Our history says you may be right but I know our team this year. I know our coaches. Normally I only talk smack when it comes to our WBB team .. because I know they are loaded so pay attention when I do it about our football team.
Too bad Missouri isn't on your schedule this year.

I am cautiously optimistic about a much better season but even with the schedule it can't be worse. If things fall into place... sure I could see a CFP berth, but things rarely fall into place for any team. Beamer needs 8 wins. He may stay with 7 but then it will just be tick down to a firing. I like Beamer but he is way too "Daboish" to suit me. LaNorris, Harbor and Stewart will have to all have a great season. I can see 9-10 wins if the season and players play to their ability and the injury bug doesn't bite. That's a hard reality.

Sad to see the Mike Shula era come to an end.

think his problem is he is stupid.
Sellers is a lot of things, but he's not stupid. He gets excitable, and he certainly gets jumpy. But this is his 3rd OC in three years. Sellers was good enough under Loggains (a notoriously poor OC) that he got Loggains the job st App State, where he continues to suck. Shula was disastrous. Maybe Briles is the right answer.
Dunno. No one knows what he have in Columbia.

LSU sucked shite last year….and still managed to beat the Gamecocks.

Congrats. *everyone* beat Carolina last year. It was an abject disaster past the first drive of the season. The OL was atrocious, the running backs room couldn't figure out that Fuller was the best back of the team until the Alabama game, and the OC was Mike "I don't know what to do next" Shula.
SC will do what they always do. Inflate our fans' hopes with a few strong drives, then fold like a custard in the cupboard when it actually matters. This is known.

If this is year one of having 'actual real coaches' you are in a rebuilding phase. Which means - for at least this year - you're fricked.

Replacing 2 coaches does not mean you're in a rebuilding phase ..that's ludicrous as we already have the talent now we have someone to lead them

Should be better at baseball as well.
Should. With your new d-bag Coach.

USC actually replaced 4 coaches. . . 3 on offense and 1 on defense. But I don’t take it as a rebuilding year. The expectations are higher, too, because most of the staff is still there — the defense is set, it’s the offense that has a makeover. With Penn States former RB coach coming to Carolina, we might get the running game back to when we had Rocket Sanders.

I mean they arent but my point is that Ole Miss has realized they can be more of a player than they have historically been. They are investing and doing all the right things. No reason why South Carolina couldnt have the success Ole Miss has recently had
I mean...they are. They are coming off a playoff run. UT had a chance at that and SC ended it

And yet you decided to make a thread extolling the greatness of your coach even though he was the head coach of a terrible team last season? Was he great last season or did he attend a Tom Emanski coaching clinic over the Summer?

The accuracy here hurts but I laughed

Never said he was great just that he now has the pieces in place and is properly motivated to succeed this year.

SEC is way too hard for anyone to make a huge jump.
Cocks may be twice as good as last year and still not be good enough to show up in the win column.
