You can find his comment around the 10:45 mark.

There was more context to his comments than you are implying.

Hell, he said at the end of those comments that he would reassess things if given the opportunity.

He said the same things that every assistant/coordinator says in that situation.

"He loves the guys and the relationships"...

"He loves designing defenses"

"He loves teaching"...

If we've heard that once we've heard it a thousand times from assistant coaches.

Well at least he’s had a chance to learn under Saban organizationally and was probably already doing most of the recruiting under Kiffin.

Absolutely have to find him a quality OC.

I actually think Ole Miss had the opportunity to come out of this ahead of Florida and Auburn. Florida and Auburn were somewhat forced to take the big name G5 guys, because if they take a shot on someone without HC experience and it fails and Golesh/Sumrall have success somewhere else then the AD will get eaten alive. Ole Miss had the opportunity to go hire one of the hot OCs who I believe have just as good a shot at success as Sumrall and Golesh, but they failed to do so.

serious question, maybe I haven’t been paying attention: but Ole Miss signed Goulding to a long term contract as opposed to him being named the Interim HC for the remainder of the year?

Henry, I’ve enjoyed you and theCAW posting on these boards as much as one can enjoy an opposing SEC fan. You guys are pretty honest compared to the delusion we get from the rest of your fans.

At least Golding is a good coordinator. Wasn't Luke just a o-line coach?

Was this hire to help with and CFP ranking issues with not having a coach? Or does this mean he’s head coach for next year and zero search??

Yes
