Mad respect to the Lutzenkirchen family for lending talent to both schools.

Rip, sad to hear. Used to not like him because he caught the game winner Vs the Gamecocks a few years ago.

Prayers sent to the Lutzenkirchen family and his Auburn family. He was an awesome player on the field and I've always heard he made really good life choices off the field. So sad to hear that he lost his life. God bless his family.

That's terrible. I can only hope that his salvation was in place and that his family finds grace and peace through these hard times.

This was the guy I knew. Bartended with him. He walked on to the baseball team for a year or something. I wasn't great friends with him, we'd actually had a scuffle about a year and a half ago. But he just asked me for girl advice about a week or two ago. It's unbelievable.

That's terrible. Definitely a name/player that would pop into my mind when I think Auburn football. His play in the 2010 Iron Bowl is one of those things you can always play in your head. Prayers to his and the Auburn family.
