How is Pruitt?

I remember something about his time at GA not going great. I think these coaches probably hear a lot more than we do, but it could have just been unsubstantiated rumors.

Has nothing to do with Pruitt

Freeze and Gus have been the best of friends a long time and Freeze has a daughter at Auburn

Auburn gonna steal freeze from Tenner?

He just accepted an off-field consultant job for Saban. Rumor is, Saban doesn't even really want him, he just likes screwing over Auburn and Tennessee.

Well, guess Auburn lost out on the Kelly Bryant lottery.

Either Freeze and Gus have an agreement or Gus will just be his own OC

Freeze has a daughter at Auburn

That would be an interesting combination, that's for sure!
I don't mean that in a bad way...just interesting.

That would be correct! They didn't even tell Bryant this weekend

I hope so. We need Khalil Tate, not Bryant.

I think Chip will be the new UT OC. That is why he resigned.

Given the descriptions UGA fans gave, I expected him to be an immature rage-o-holic but he's actually been quite the opposite. He definitely chews out staff during games but he's been the first person to take responsibility for game day failures. There was a call (forget which game) where OC Tyson Helton called a play Pruitt disagreed with but Pruitt was the first to say he'd disagreed (believe they may even argued on the sideline about it) but then when it worked he was glad Helton had called it.

I wouldn't be too disappointed. I'm getting just the faintest air of failure of him. He's like whatshisname? that kept bouncing around programs so long that all I remember is "whatshisname?"

Thanks!

And maybe it was just a bad match in GA?

Yeah, I think that more than anything was the issue. He's gotten along well everywhere else. I just think Pruitt and Richt were like oil and water and UGA's admin gave Pruitt wayyyyy too much power from what I understand (that muddied the waters/whole chain of command).

I’m not making this up on purpose, I could just be crazy- I thought one of gus’ supposed requirements they said last week or whenever it was they supposedly reworked his contract that Lindsey was a part of that- as in he was staying?

The more surprising part is apparently Les is going to hire him at Kansas. Stylistically, Lindsey doesn't run a Miles offense. So that should be interesting
