That looks like a fair assessment.

If Bigsby and their OL are still banged up it might look more like 30-14 or something. The Richards kid they played late looked pretty good, but Shivers/Williams aren't good enough to gain yards on their own against a good run defense (which A&M certainly has). Gonna be hard for them to move the ball I think.

Fair assessment for most Malzahn/Morris games these days.

AU is so banged up right now, Gus would have to really pull one out of his wazoo. If Hamm can’t go they may have 3 starters out on their OL.

All starts with 1st down in that scheme. Get 5 yards on 1st down and it can be a scary offense. Get stuck in 2nd and 7 and 3rd and 6 every possession and it's going to have a whole lot of trouble.

We better double Williams. If he had a better QB, he’d be all SEC.

A&M is the same way. Lsu kept us off schedule and the offense suffered. Mond or the receivers kept failing on 3rd.

He's very good. If they had a league-average offensive line they'd be a pretty tough offense to defend this year with a great possession receiver, a solid slot guy (Stone), a burner (Schwartz), a QB who is a run threat and a really good, tough RB.
But they have a below-average OL that turns into terrible with their injuries, an injured RB and a QB who sees ghosts when pressured.

“Texas A&M is one of the best programs in college football. Division game, and everything that goes with that. We will need to get our edge back, and play fast and physical. Big game. No doubt.”
Get your edge back, when you played with no edge vs your main rival? Get physical when you were dominated way too many times on Saturday? Play fast when you just coached a clock control game?

If anything, the struggle win against LSU should have everyone from staff to bench rider at full effort against Auburn.
I don't see anyone taking this game lightly, and if they do, they should either be benched or fired IMO.

Good Mond we should win.
Bad Mond we will lose.
Bad Mond just made an appearance and is not due for another 4 games or so. But... he can show up at any time.

I just made the quote up. Sadly, it’s probably almost verbatim what he has or will say.
Be glad you have a coach who is great and earns his millions. We’ve got a Kia for the price of a Land Rover. We’ve got a bologna sandwich for the price of Wagyu beef. We paid Fifth Avenue price for Dollar Tree merchandise.
It is what it is. A 49 million dollar mistake.

How is Auburn's run defense?
Spiller is 216 yards short of 1,000 with 3 games to go.

A&M better not take Auburn lightly. If Gus pulls this one out, then Jimbo will have a lot of explaining to do.
I'm thinking Jimbo has to spend time this week coaching up QB #2 whom we've not really seen this year. We've seen Haynes King briefly and not seen Calzada at all. But Mond laid a rotten egg last Saturday and aTm can't be put in a position to be entirely reliable on an unreliable QB. I think the chance of having to play #2 is remote. But Mond had a deer in the headlights look last week. I think much of his problem is in the thing that occupies the space between his ears. And now the next game, Auburn, is even bigger than last weeks game. Pressure!

Of course, it wasn't just the layoff, or the weather, that led Mond to lay a stinker--you have to give LSU some credit. But, I'm not sure if Auburn can implement the same strategy and get the same results. LSU's defensive problems this year have mostly been mental--they've still got some great talent on that defense.

Are you really bragging about being gifted yalls first win over LSU since Bill Clinton was getting blowies under the desk that took gift after gift from the refs in 7 ot’s and yalls best team ever’s not very impressive win against the worst LSU team in 30 years?
I'm so excited to see what your excuse will be the next time you come to Kyle

I exchanged with LSU fans about this on the Scoreboard. They wanted to say they suck this year on defense so the Aggies really sucked worse. But I thought they were pretty outstanding on defense. They rose to the occasion and LSU has a lot of talent. Their DBs created havoc for the Aggie receivers. And there was no consistent run game. So I guess I'm saying I agree with you.

I wouldn’t enjoy games at Kyle either of my team was 0-2 the last few years.
