ya'll keep in mind Brownell at Clemson taught Charleston's coach everything he knows. Was Brownell's assistant coach at Clemson.

lol

Clemson is always there waiting on you Auburn. Killing your dreams. lol

Yeah well we already established that thinking isn't your strong suit.

Cam Newton has won an NFL MVP. He led his team to the Super Bowl with one of the worst OLs and group of WRs to ever make the super bowl. He's already established himself as the GOAT Dual Threat QB by having already broken or being on pace to break virtually every career rushing record by a QB and he's not even 30 yet. His best years as a passer are still ahead of him as he has to run less and his franchise starts to take better care of him by getting him a better OL, WRs, and OCs

Not to mention Cam Newton broke virtually every rookie QB record that exists both passing and rushing, and won every ROY award in existence. But hey, Watson's half a mediocre season and zero awards are cool too.

And remember other than Greg Olsen and 2 years of Steve Smith, Cam hasn't had jack shite to throw to. And almost annually a bottom 5 OL to keep him moving whether he wanted to be or not.

But Imagine giving Cam a top 5 WR like DeAndre Hopkins. Or better yet for you, imagine DeAndre Hopkins with a top 10 QB like Cam Newton.

Look, I like Watson and I think he's a fine pro QB and will have a fine pro career. But I don't think Watson has started 10 games yet in his career. Its way too early to say anything about him, his career could still go in any direction. To say already that Watson is better than Cam who's already won an MVP, started a Super Bowl, owns numerous NFL records, and is already halfway to Canton is just delusional at best. Retarded at worst. Poor trolling most probably.

In the 10 seasons before this year Brownell made only 1 NCAAT despite inheriting a program w 3 straight trips to the dance. He's also never won a game in the tournament either

The only thing he could have taught the CoC coach is how to avoid getting canned for poor performance

Mods, Isn't this one of those threads that should get anchored because the original title no longer matches the thread?

1997 Arizona as in Mike Bibby, Miles Simon, Michael Dickerson and Jason Terry 1997 Arizona? You think the current version of 2018 Auburn could be like that?

All those guys were nobody's until that run except for Mike Bibby....

And I watched them beat Kansas and Providence in Birmingham. This team is very comparable. What's gonna happen if Bryce Brown goes on a heater like he was all season before the shoulder injury? Who's gonna beat Auburn?

Possibly nobody.

Think Auburn can win if they shoot the ball the way they did against Bama in the SECT?

RD1? Possibly if we don't turn it over so much too. Not past that though

Didn't realize that Watson was in Clemson's national TV commercial and had a statue put on campus

It is honestly impressive how many absurd, easily refutable claims you put out there. The comments are so stupid, it is hard to believe it isn't a troll. With a hook/substance so stupid and obvious, it is even harder to believe that you are trolling

I'll give you credit, it is a unique twist on trollin'

What? We went 1-1 against the best player in your program's history and split 2 national titles. Don't flatter yourself.

Clemson, Seton Hall, Kansas, TCU, Michigan State, Oklahoma, Duke............and that's just in their region.

Auburn has been a 9/10 seed level team (at best) since McLemore's injury. You guys are 4-5 over roughly the last month and 2-4 since he was injured after going 21-2 through the Vandy game.

It sucks, I feel for them, but it is what it is. You shouldn't have silly expectations.

Don't project your shite conversation with the Aubs on to Alabama. I have no problem with Watson, he's a damn fine player.

All the bolded teams are very beatable by 8-9 seeds and performed poorly down the stretch

CU- Lost best player went 7-6
Seton Hall- Finished 4-6
TCU- 5-10 vs NCAAT and not very good
Oklahoma-

Auburn can play like shite and lose, but if they shoot at an average level they would be expected to beat everyone on that list

Nobody said Auburn WOULD lose to those teams. He asked who COULD Auburn lose to.

Auburn certainly could lose to all of those teams. Auburn could also beat all of them except for probably Duke and maybe Michigan State with their bigs.

Like I said, if Auburn has an even average shooting + defensive game they'd be favored against everyone on that list. People forget they won by double digits @TN/UK shooting sub 30% 3FG

It just isn't clear if AU can shoot average level this season. They're in one of those weird funks

If they show up shooting 40% sub 30%3FG they may escape CoC but theyre toast past that

Will Brown's shoulder heal up by Friday? I assume that's why he was so cold in the SECT.

Many of your folks said the long rest would benefit AU greatly, they should be well rested and ready to play ball.

Yea I'd be shocked if they lost to CoC. Actually, it may be the best thing that can happen to them. A team that doesn't defend the 3 well could give them a game to get back in the groove going into tougher games.

CoC does a great job on dribble drive penetration from multiple players. Not ideal when missing rim protector + 3 post big men

Our D is only aggressive and wants to create TOs, something CoC w that offense doesn't do

It sounds weird but I prefer playing opponents whose offense runs through their big men. Auburn has been incredibly effective against post offense teams by aggressively disrupting them.

Opponents bigs frequently have "good"and extremely efficient good looking games, but it is on significantly reduced possession% and overall team efficiency decline
