Based on how we have struggled this season CofC isn't a huge match up issue for us. We also defend their strength well.
Since Anfernee's injury the issue is pretty clear...can we make enough shots on the permitter? We aren't going to be able to run and press on the outside like earlier in the year. So will the shots fall in the half court set?

We're gonna have to live by the 3-ball, die by the 3-ball, and continue to play defense well. Pretty much our only chance to survive and advance. If Harper, Brown, Heron are on, we can still beat a lot of teams. If not we can pretty much lose to anybody.

Those barners are gonna be a tough matchup in this tourney.. it's hard to be prepared for their toughness and scrappiness . Especially on game 2 with a day to prepare.. if their shot is on.. well everybody knows the rest. If they can get a way with some wrist slaps they will be dangerous until they run up on some real size and athleticism.
I hate to say but uburn is the toughest team in the league.. those lil guys will punk you if you take them lightly.

The teams we struggle with have length and defend well. CoC has neither. We are really going to have to have an off shooting night for them to pull an upset. It's possible I guess but I don't see it as likely. AU by 10+.

I've got CoC.
Auburn is one of the few teams in the tourney that can go out day 1 or win it all.
I flipped a coin, came up tails. So I'm expecting them to have a lousy night from beyond the arc.

Yes, but other teams have the ability to overcome bad shooting. This team is too small and too thin to overcome poor shooting, see Alabama game in sec tournament.

Auburn doesn't have a bunch of just plain pure shooters, they have a bunch of guys who are very good at making open shots off of sets and a couple streaky pure shooters. They also haven't been anything other than a pretty average team since McLemore's injury.
I totally understood the point. It's not comparable.
I think Auburn beats CoC because it's a good matchup for them. However, past that, can't really expect a whole lot.
