Ricks has been so good this season. Night and day difference from last year. 5 star HS ranking starting to show a bit

OU’s DL dominated. Not every team is capable of that production. But that is the goal…

This is probably correct, but it might not be as much of an advantage as you think. Marcel is good.

Hold it together man your season will end soon.

Arnold is gonna put up career numbers against that defense.

Mateer has a QBR of 74.2 with 6 TDs and 3 INTs. Reed has a QBR of 160.3 with 9 TDs and 1 INT in one fewer games. Reed has almost as many yards rushing on fewer carries (once again, 3 games vs 4). Reed also made a super clutch drive down the field to win the game at ND.
Not sure how OU has the "obvious advantage" at QB. Mateer is a good QB but Reed is really freaking good as well.
I'm expecting a very physical and tough game but I just don't think Auburn will be able to stop the A&M offense.
This is the most balanced and explosive offense A&M offense in quite a long time. The OL is experienced. Reed can throw and run effectively and takes care of the ball. Moss is an All SEC caliber RB who always gets positive yardage and the backups are solid. We effectively use the TE. The big difference though is Craver and Concepcion are elite level WR that are going to be a problem, they have almost 700 yards and 7 TDs in 3 games between them and Bussey is no joke either as a 3rd WR.
The problems for A&M are the Run D has been inconsistent and the penalties are a problem. They need to play a lot cleaner. The weird thing is the DL is the strength of the D. Interior is big and physical and makes a lot of negative plays and Howell is legit off the edge. The LB's have been inconsistent as have the Safeties but the CB's are solid. Special teams is also inconsistent. Return game is very dangerous but they also got a punt blocked against ND.
Auburn can score some points and will be a good test, I'd be a lot more nervous if it was a road game though. I think the point spread has more to do with how explosive the A&M offense has been but I would stay away from that line as an Aggie fan, Auburn is dangerous.

Not downing anybody but Marcel Reed was very clutch leading Aggies down the field to score a TD to win the game against a ND team that had it's back against a wall. 9 TD passes for the season to 1 INT is damn good.
The same "experts" that told everybody Arch was elite are the same people saying John Mateer is "obviously" better. Let's let it play out a few weeks.
Marcel is throwing twice as many TD's per game and less than half as many INT's as Mateer.
I am not predicting who will win this game but I expect Aggies to score in the low forties.

I know y’all are wishing for Arch to fail, but I’m gonna laugh if he becomes consistently solid this season…

In general, the home team has some advantage.
Explosive plays can give you a chance on the road.
Penalties, turnovers, and field position matter.
Special teams matter.

That's nonsense. I like Arch, I simply believe he was hyped beyond his capability. Can he get there? Who knows.
Sark hasn't done shite to prepare him the two years that he's been in the program. That to me is coaching malpractice.

Highest rated recruit of all time, probably the highest paid player in CFB, but the sips will have the last laugh if he becomes “consistently solid”.

Aubies, how has your run game looked? Another area of worry as aggresor said.

One thing is for certain is that Auburn will more than likely get favorable calls this week after the cluster in Norman on Saturday.

Its decent when Hugh doesn't forget about it. Cobb and Alston run hard. Cobb is a bit more explosive but neither one goes down easy. OL definitely run blocks better than they pass block.
But, as I said, Hugh has a tendency to forget we have running backs for long stretches. So it will all depend on how early he abandons the run.

… this is a thread about Auburn and A&M.

A&M's run defense is trash tier. If AU sticks to the run they wear down an average defense. If AU tries to air it out, close game.
