I just have zero idea why he claimed it was his. It probably would have gone away if he said nothing. $5000, isn't a lot for a bagman, but I need Aunts like his if that's real because that is a lot for a "gradation gift". He was also committed to the "University of Auburn." Not the brightest kid in the bunch, but we'll see how he does once Muschamp takes the Falcons DC job

When's the last time UGA snatched a player out from underneath another school who was ahead of them recruiting? Has UGA ever Tunsil'd another school?

Then you just need to find an Aunt who's husband is a HOF WR and the kids natural Uncle.

Like how they got him to switch is some big mystery. We are all doing it. Auburn has just been doing it longer and to a higher degree. Got a former SEC coach living behind me and stories of this one and that one are pretty out there, including Bama, LSU, Florida. You name it. EVERYBODY has some sort of incentive during their playing days and certain players get cash up front. out of the 25 signed, 6 or 7 usually get something that pushes them a certain direction but not every signee, and...EVERY school is doing this. Don't fool yourself into believing your school doesn't have to buy certain players.

Not reading this entire thread but has the fact that Michael Irvin is his uncle not been discussed? Maybe that's where the money came from. All black people aren't

Is it just me, or does it look like Liner has the smallest stack there?

I would think that's who it is, but Michael is one of 17 children so there are probably a few aunts in his family. I also thought that Michael probably wasn't married based on his womanizing ways with the Cowboys, but it looks like he is so I guess that is good news.

Texas didn't pull his offer, they did with another kid that was committed there.

It was news before he even visited that if he visited, they were pulling his offer

Be more closely related to Michael Irvin and maybe it could happen for you

Longhorns didn't pull his offer. Just that he wouldn't be considered a commit if he took the Auburn visit.

"You're not committed if you visit"

So how is that not pulling an offer? Do you think if he visited he could turn around a recommit to Texas? Nah

Should have kept quiet. An aunt doesn't gift that much in cash.

Dude, he's an EE and is starting classes at Auburn tomorrow. If he's not considered a commit at that point, then he doesn't have a scholarship anymore.

nothing is going to come of this but the Family's desperate need to think of Auburn as this "all that's right with the world" institution it laughable
