They beat Ole Miss by 11. Wow. They lost to Penn State. They got blown out by Georgia.
Alabama destroyed Ole Miss. We were up 35-7 going into the 4th. It wasn't even competitive.
Yet, for some reason now everyone thinks Auburn is this incredibly dangerous team? I don't see it. Auburn will lose to aTm, and lose to Alabama to finish 8-4.
Also, this fawning over Bryan Harsin. He inherited a former 5-star veteran SEC QB, and a great running back. Gus Malzahn would likely have them in this same position.
He's also ranked 13th in the SEC in this recruiting cycle.
I'm not buying the hype

I said they'll end up 8-4. That's being a little generous. MSU will be a tough test for them. They could conceivably end up 7-5

Every Alabama fan knows this. Jordan Hare is Saban's kryptonite. But I feel pretty good about it tbh

Bryan Harsin would beat the shite out of Nick Saban in a fight

Harsin seems like he is doing a fine job coaching. Bo Nix looks pretty good, which has to be coaching. But.... about 70% of being a college coach is recruiting. Is Auburn going to have an incredible finish to their class or is recruiting going to be dog shite going forward? This seems like the worry I'd have if I was an Auburn fan.

We’re very obviously improving each week. We went from a team with 14 drops against Georgia to a team that is passing the ball all over the field. Our defense went from missed assignments that gave up big plays down field to a defense that held Ole Miss to their lowest point total of the season.
This. Had their receivers been able to catch anything against Georgia that game is way more competitive. Just using the eye test will tell you they are improving every week.

This is calling out an overrated team, and an overrated coach.
They're not bad, but they're not some juggernaut. People are talking as if Auburn could potentially win the division. It's pretty ridiculous.
So what is Bama's best win ? MSU ?

The same 5 star veteran SEC qb everyone even Auburn fans wrote off. I'm not saying this team is world beaters but if you cant tell they are doing things the right way you should be laying on someone's couch.

So, in his first year, and one in which he had recruiting covid limitations, he either has an incredible finish or he will suck forever. You're smart when it comes to football stuff.

Harsin also inherited one of the worst OLs in all of power 5 and has turned them into an average unit which. I think AU could go 7-5 or 10-2. I think most AU fans are just happy that we are playing real offensive football. The recruiting will come with wins. Always does at AU

think it’s a big challenge for us to go into A&M with the SEC West on the line and win. But we certainly have made a case for being a team worth betting on.
This a good, not great, Auburn team. That is nothing to sneer at. You lost to Georgia sure but you beat Ole Miss and Arkansas by comfortable margins. If y'all beat A&M, Moo State, and USC... which is certainly doable... then you go into the Alabama game 9-2. Win or lose you are playing with house money at this point.
Honestly, who predicted Auburn would have a shot at a double digit win season this year with a new coaching staff?

I'm just saying I told you to buy early and often. When Auburn is predicted to be complete dog mess you tend to win the SEC West at least. You should have been prepared.

Why are Bama fans so insecure?

Sounds like you meant to say Auburn is better than you thought they would be and you pretty much don't like it.
