Are they Tigers, Plainsmen, or War Eagles?

No one has ever thought of this

Their bigger identity problem is going to be with their offense, IMO.

Have you seen LSU's new president?

As opposed to whirlybirds and sugar huddle

State of Alabama’s major universities seem to be unique in this regard. What can ya do?

When will LSU change their name. Time to go Woke.
According to LSU football tradition, the name came from a Civil War regiment known as the Louisiana Tigers, which distinguished itself with its fighting spirit in the battle of the Shenandoah Valley, where it was said they 'fought like tigers,'" wrote Dan Hardesty in his book, "LSU: The Louisiana Tigers."
Back in the day it was the Bengal Tigers, etc.

It is a fair observation.
Most have wondered if they are SE Alabama or SW Georgia for quite some time. All others outside of the region can at least agree they wish they didn't exist at all

You've obviously never even been to a game in Opelika. It's a TigerEagle and it does this beautiful flying routine around the stadium, soaring like an eagle and roaring like a tiger, before every home game.
It then lands in the endzone and dances with the cheerleaders for a little bit and then its handlers come and get it. Quite the show, actually, and I'm not being sarcastic.

Ain't gonna happen! You know what separates our "real" Fighting Tigers from Auburn's cartoonish version of a Tiger?
The courage to resist the easy way out!
GO TIGERS!
