I am sure you can link to some reputable source stating otherwise.

No offense, but what does a WR Coach have to do with a receiver catching the ball? I guess he can teach them hand position when the ball is coming to them, but if they don't know that before they get to Auburn (Or Georgia, Alabama or any other P5 program) then they don't need to be at a P5 program.

A Receivers coach can help teach blocking technique, how to get more separation, blocking out a defensive player for a pass reception....there are tons of things a receivers coach can teach a receiver. Catching a football is not one of them. If they can't catch, then you need to take a look at who recruited receivers who can't catch.

I think it was less about catching and more about the other basic things. We had plays where we the receivers did not even get on the field before a play. They were lined up all wrong. They did not know which routes to run.

If anything, I think all of this undermined their confidence as well to the point they were struggling in even doing the most basic things like catching the ball.

Not doubting that at all. I just thought ti odd that the other poster seemed to think receivers were dropping passes because of the coach.

If this rattled them then they have no shot at playing in the NFL. You can complain about Gus' recruiting the OLIne and other positions, but he recruited extremely well at WR. It seemed like you guys pulled in 3-4 4* receivers ever year.

(It also seemed like you pulled in about 10 TEs every year.)

And every year, "we plan on using the TE position more this time."

We are just now using our TEs, so no judgement here! now we have to get it to the WRs....then we will need to "run the Bawl!"

There's always something. I gotta admit though....Harsin is looking good. I thought 4-5 losses with so many of your players transferring out and a new coach. But he may have your team turning the corner.

Looks like nobody knows anything concrete yet (except the same rumors), but it’s supposedly to be discussed along with the vaccine deal at the usual press conference today if true, which I think is just at or after lunch.

Hearing that the suspension rumors are true but it’s not weed

The fact nothing has been leaked to any of the normal beat reporters saying this is completely untrue makes me think there is at least some truth to it.

Even if it is true I don't think we'll get much detail today. At most it will be something like "some players suspended for rules violations" and leave it at that.

Many counties and the state (ALDOC) you can do an inmate search and see what they are in for. Public info.

VP Kamala put many bros away for pot in Cali when she was DA.

I’m hearing they got busted for underage drinking at Marc Curles house party. But Marc is going to send this up to the replay booth and let them fix it.

I think Harsin needs to absolutely punish these boys and start a culture in his locker room. I think everyone who hung out with the people who failed should be punished too. One week sounds like an appropriate sentence.

Are you trying to transform the Barn's new young coach into the 2nd coming of Mark Richt? Hope so.

If it was a repeat offender sentence, the it wasn't for "just weed." It was for repeatedly demonstrating an inability to follow the rules established by society. Even then, you're going to be very hard pressed to find anyone with nothing but weed charges getting that treatment.

Next thing you know they'll be giving weed tests after players get back from spring break.

Sure can. I used some of those systems for about 18 years in a former job.

I'd strongly encourage you to do so and see what people are in for (particularly Alabama). Here's what you're going to find - over 80% are in for violent crimes. There will often be drug offenses as part of the overall case but not as the core. The exception is trafficking which is very often prosecuted at the federal level but does happen at the state. They get harsh sentences, but that's still a crime even in Oregon.

The guy caught with nothing more than a recreational amount of weed or the guy selling a little on the street corner just doesn't go to state prison in Alabama. At most he's getting a little county time and he's certainly not getting less than someone convicted of murder, which is what you alleged in your post.

As far as what Kamala did in Cali, I neither know nor care. The thread is about Auburn guys getting in trouble in Alabama so all my posts are in reference to what happens here.

Harsin didn't mention anything about it in weekly presser today. Not sure if that means that it was all bs internet rumors or if it means that Harsin is not showing his hand until game time though.
