see you could call her that and go on with your day. you only make yourself look like an a-hole. The problem for these players is they represent the football team so every action they take in turn represents the rest of the team. They have to know they can't behave like normal students. They are held to a higher standard.

Kids being kids, of course they would lash back at her like they did. I would probably still do that today if someone lashed out at me for petting a dog in public, and I'm 23 years old. The players had no intent of hurting anyone or causing trouble. That doesn't excuse their actions, but it shouldn't excuse hers either.
From my experience, and I've been in Auburn a ton, it's not unusual to walk up and talk to someone, engage in random conversation on campus or pet someone's dog as you're passing by. That's just how things are in Auburn. It's like a huge family.

well these players aren't very nice to family members if they are calling them bitches. It still isn't smart to just walk up and pet random dogs that you don't know. Also while wearing team gear its pretty dumb to get in a yelling match with another student.

they are 18 so they are adults. Gus needs to do a better job making sure his players know that if they want to harass other family members they need to do it not wearing their numbers.

Minor thing. Over reactions all around. They did not touch or physically assault anyone. If they had, they could transfer to a school that does not have a problem with Physical assault.
