You did put a lot of yards up. But that was with a more experienced OL. You don't have that now. That's the point.
Thank you for proving you are talking out of your arse. Now please leave.

Fact is That MSU averaged 5.2 per carry. 350ish yards on the ground against the DL/Lb. A total of 531 yards.
It's not like your defense was tops. So concern should be there
The fact is MSU lost to AU again.

Each day on here I learn one thing that's certain: MSU fans don't know shite about football.
But then again, why would they?

Nosa Eguae has started 23 consecutive games, he is No. 3 behind Dee Ford and Craig Sanders.--------------------
That is shocking...
No it's not.
I have NEVER understood why some think Eguae was somehow going to automatically start this year or that he even earned that distinction. Did some of you watch our defense last year? Eguae did a decent job at times, but when teams ran to his side (and to Lemonier's side, too, to be fair), Eguae got squashed. He also generates very little pass rush, as evidenced by his ZERO sacks last year.
Eguae has been playing because we haven't had anybody else the last two years opposite Lemonier, and Ford's injury last year just magnified the problem. I haven't been impressed with Eguae at all the last two years. I understand 2010 with it being his first year as a starter, but he should've been A LOT more productive last year in his second year as a starter, and he wasn't.
Mediocre is mediocre, and that's what Eguae is. I'm glad VanGorder saw it, too.

Why is Nosa 3rd string? I feel like he's regressed over time.
I don't normally agree with a Moo St. fan, but when I do, I prefer it be about Nosa.
Spot on.

I don't know if I'm buying the "we're young" argument any more. The
Well last season at DT we started 2 true with a sophomores combined total of 13 career tackles. Thier backup were all 3 true freshman, one of them was about 270lbs.

The Matador succcccckkkkkkkkkked
Same with Neiko Thorpe, he was terrible. The combination of Jermaine Whitehead and Ryan Smith should be an upgrade over what we fielded last year at safety. I expected Erique Florence to get the nod over Ryan Smith, but his injury definitely set him back. Once he's there mentally, he'll be fine. Hell of a hitter.
Ryan White pairing up with Chris Davis is a surprise. I expected Robenson Therezie to start opposite Chris Davis, but Ryan White must've impressed (i'm still skeptical on him). T'Sharvan Bell will hopefully be fully healed at the nickel corner spot.
Dee Ford getting the start over Nosa Equae is no surprise to me. I called this back in Spring. Nosa has always been average to me. He just doesn't produce like a starter should. Although, I really wouldn't look too much into who's 2nd or 3rd string with the defensive line. They'll rotate a ton this season. This is by far our deepest position.
The set of starting linebacker we have are...concerning. That's all I'm going to say on that.
CAN'T WAIT UNTIL SATURDAY NIGHT!

Nosa was injured during practice and that has slowed him down. Also he would have started on several AU teams this past decade, you vastly underestimate just how deep AU is at the DE spot. AU has people in the depth that would compete for starting jobs at most schools in the SEC right now.

Auburns starters seem a lot smaller in size than BAMA and LSU.
Ugh no. At certain positions UA is larger but that's due to the 3-4 defense. Overall AU's guys are finally able to hold their own, overall age of the team is still younger so depth experience is still a bit down but overall competitive.

Bell is at his much better position at Nickel. He is much more of a disruptive style Player, than a cover corner type.
To the size comment, go look at LSU's depth chart on rivals.

Who are the run stoppers on this defense?
I think Clemson and other opposing teams will run a lot of power and heavy sets and make Auburn prove they can stop the run.

why does everyone care so much about our Depth chart?
Most would consider it a Lack of Depth Chart. Seriously, your skilled positions on Offense have experience, Frazier notwithstanding. The issue becomes Frazier's ability (or lack thereof) to get the ball into their hands given the "youth" of your OL.
If you look at the film from last year, he was running a limited playset given his inexperience. Here he is under his second OC in as many years having to make reads and adjustments with an inexperienced OL in a completely new offense. He has the talent to progress thru the year, if his OL gives him the opportunity.
Just a big, big question relative to last year.

I won't be pissed. I've even said that Green just wasn't that good, but for whatever reason, you felt the need to completely trash him one day. It's fine to say he wasn't very good, but to go on like you did was just ridiculous. It just shows a complete lack of respect for a guy who was out there giving it his all and playing in pain every game from a broken ankle he had the year before. I just don't understand the need to go off on the guy like you were.
Anyway, Green play RT last year. Mosely was our LT. And I agree, Robinson will probably make us forget about most every OT we've had since Marcus McNeill.

Brandon Moseley started the year at Left Tackle, but eventually moved back to Right Tackle after a couple games. Him and AJ Greene basically flip-flopped.

You seem to be on top of things, how much better will the OL play this year be relative to last year?
