Auburn is negotiating with Nike. Tim Cook is on Nike’s Board of Directors.

Auburn is wrapping up a deal with Nike now.
Auburn is contracted to UA till 2025 but the exclusive negotiating period ended September of 23 with no renewal between AU and UA.

UA has seriously declined, they failed in development of their sports equipment for years. Athletes need solid gear, shoes & cleats and UA's offerings are inferior.

Doesn't Alabama have some crappy deal with Nike? Bill Battle, I think signed it, and we can't make as much money as other schools? If i remember correctly....

Bama certainly carried a lot more bargaining power in that 2018 extension and has leverage in the 2025 negotiations. The program is night and day different from 2002 to 2024.

I don’t think Champion is going to help with basketball recruiting. As a basketball fan I hope we go with Nike.
