I think they pull an upset or two and win 7 games or more.

Freeze gonna beat someone he shouldn't. 7 wins wouldn't surprise me.

They will get LSU. I don't think Kelly has figured out what this rivalry is all about just yet. He will.

This stretch is where we learn what the team is made of. 2-2 or better, Freeze gets a lot of praise. 0-4 will make it tough in the locker room. And might hurt the buzz with the program.

Out of all 4, Ole Miss in JHS is the most likely Auburn can win. Especially if the game is at night. Ole Miss has only won 3 games at JHS ever. Last win was when Freeze was coaching Ole Miss.

Auburn won't lose to TAMU, OM, or Rkansas. We have a better coach then those scrubs. TAMU couldn't beat Caddie. I got us winning 9

Wtf does any of that mean

We went there last year when Harsin was a dead man walking and had Robbie fricking Ashford turn into the second coming of Vince Young for half a game while we threw for a combined 85 yards… and then still won. What could possibly be more LSU-Auburn than that

I think 6-6 is the floor, 9-3 the ceiling. But 6-6 is more likely than 9-3. 7-5 would be my prediction.

I’ve got Auburn at 7 wins, taking 2 Ws from A&M, Arkansas, State, Ole Miss & Alabama

Hard to predict though, entire OL, QB (likely), many WRs, LBs, edge rushers all turned over from last year.

Auburn was pretty close to 6 wins last year though, with State and LSU being close ones (of course, Mizzou should’ve been a loss as well, but close game nonetheless).

Schedule is easier this year (@Cal for PSU, Vandy for Mizzou, OM and State at home), so I think 7 feels right without an absolute dead man walking at HC for 2/3 of the season.

He could just as easily lose to someone he shouldn't. Auburn was already the chaos roller coaster and it will get increasingly more chaotic with Freeze at the helm

We'll beat A&M, Arky, OM and probably LSU.

Losing to Cal in week 2 but then beating LSU or Alabama is definitely on the table for Freeze

Freeze had more than his share of these types of games in Oxford.

2012 Texas A&M - Up 27-23, 3:02 remaining in the game, Ole Miss goes for it on 4th and 1 from their own 39; they call a run up the middle from the shotgun which is stuffed by Aggie, who scores a TD with the great field position and wins the game; Aggie turned the ball over six times in the game

2014 LSU - Despite 4 LSU turnovers (two of which gave the Rebels great field position) and a missed LSU field goal, the Rebels high-flying offense is whipped by the LSU defense and can muster just 7 points

2014 Arkansas - #8 Ole Miss is dominated by a 5-5 Arkansas team 30-0. The Rebs turn the ball over six times.

2014 Peach Bowl - never even got off the bus

2015 Memphis - Memphis held us to 40 rushing yards. The only FBS team they held to less than that was SMU in a game they won 63-0.

2016 Florida State - up 22 points in the second quarter, outscored 39-6 to close the game and lose; Florida State scored on 10 straight drives to end the game (this was a harbinger of things to come with that all-time level bad defense)

2016 Alabama - Up 24-3 with about 2 minutes left in the first half; allow Bama to score two quick TDs go to to the break; lose by 5 despite putting up 500+ yards and having less penalties than Bama

He will beat bama. He owned Saban at Ole Miss, why would Auburn be any different

Bama is cursed in Jordan Hare, true.

But Freeze didn't "own" Saban.

We played them tough but lost in 2012 and 2013, won in 2014 and 2015, and then lost a close game we probably should've won in 2016.

That looks fair.

I think 6-6 is where we are. I expect to win one we don't see but also to lose one that is unexpected.

It pains me incredibly to but Auburn aint going 6-6 and they aren't losing 4 in a row.

They'll handle Ole Miss and maybe A&M
LSU and Bama will be dogfights.

Before Ole Miss started paying players, Freeze did a lot with a little. I think Auburn is going to be the surprise team in the SEC. I don't seem them losing all three to 5&7, Ole Miss, and Arkansas.

Honestly, I think an early cross country trip to Cal could be tricky for a new AU staff.

Likewise, I'm certain the Iron Bowl is not a for sure Bama win.

Au could easily get 7-8 wins. Freeze is a good offensive coach. He'll be a tough out moving forward for almost all once he gets his system in place and talent on board.
