Next year seems like the year to turn things around unless something weird happens and we get back down to 7 serviceable scholarship players.

We have a lot of talent coming in, including our 7'2 center that took a leave of absence this year.

Auburn has a way better coach than LSU.

Won't be surprised if he makes a late season run like he usually does.

We're not over looking Auburn tomorrow. They're going to give Kentucky a good game.

It has been a long, long time since Kentucky has suffered a loss to Auburn. The Tigers have one win in the series since 1990: a 66-63 victory in 2000 with Chris Porter leading a very good Auburn team, ranked fourth at the time.

Outside of that lone win, it’s a 32-1 record for Kentucky since 1990.

Next year we'll have more depth, our 7'2" C will be back on the team.
I doubt he makes it back and he is still a huge project that missed another year of coaching and development.

Our best recruit from this year will be eligible who Pearl says is the best player on the team, has NBA and possibly one and done potential.
Pearl says he has the most nba potential, but stops short of calling him the best player on the team currently.

Injuries have sabotaged this season, which sucks, but the future of AU basketball looks good.

Hopefully when Dunans returns the team finishes the season on a high note.

Kind of you to say, but not true.

I think most of us are hoping the team is respectable next year and wins a few we shouldn't this year.

How do Auburn folks feel about this season so far? Obviously it wasn't supposed to be a 25 win team, but it has to put a bit of a stall on the enthusiasm doesn't it? Obviously there have been injuries and Pearl has a bunch of highly rated guys coming in, so it would be silly to panic over things, but there was a lot of excitement going into the year and especially after the first 3 weeks or so.

Canty is the best player.

Purifoy is probably the best talent. OUT
Dunans is the best playmaker. OUT
Shamsid-Deen is the best defender and back up PG. OUT
New Williams is the best athlete. LIMITED
Trayvon Reed is 7'2" and athletic. OUT

I look at it as this is Pearl's first year. Last year he was limited in who he could bring in due to the show cause. This is his first real foundation year. I love what he is doing for Auburn. I think next year will be the break out year. Injuries have hurt being respectable this year, but it's ok. I know better times are ahead for us. I can be patient.

injuries are a killer

Pearl needs to bring in fresh talent next year and hope to avoid the injury bug
