Auburn hasn't been playing well, LSU has showed some signs of improvement, it might be easy to write this one off but looking at recent history over the last 2 decades or so, Auburn always gives LSU trouble regardless of record.

2004 Auburn wins by 1 point
2006 Auburn wins by 4 points
2008 LSU wins by 5 points
2010 Auburn wins by 7 points
2012 LSU wins by 2 points
2016 Auburn wins by 5 points
2018 LSU wins by 1 point

Auburn has mixed in a handful of blowouts but you've got to go back to 1998 to find the last double digit LSU victory in Jerdan Hurr. I expect another grind on Saturday.

Agree, I think a one-score game either way.

I am 100% sure the Tigers win.

It’ll be close, though. The Tigers could easily lose too.

Usually Auburn plays LSU before they know that they suck. Auburn doesn’t have that mental edge this year.

We've never won by more than 14 at Jordan Hare. Ever. That 14 point game came in the 70s.

Hopefully we can set a new mark this weekend.

Last year they lost to Penn State and tried their hardest to lose to a shitty team at home (sound familar?) before they greased up Bo Nix and had him play ballerina in the backfield.

Nobody gets played tougher there than Bama does.

I don't know what it is but I hate that place.

That might be true, but they don’t go easy on us either. I think it’s something about sharing a state or a mascot that makes the voodoo there all crazy.

Yeah, that's a very tough place to play when their team has a pulse. Thankfully, this team does not.

The only outlier that really fits this year is that 2012 team. We were God awful and the team quit but for some reason girded our loins to play LSU. Maybe we can muster some of that magic, but this team just doesn’t have that feel. We are far less talented. Even though the 2012 team was awful, a lot of the same talent took us to the national championship game next year. Outside of Tank Bigsby and Derek Hall, we don’t have any players that would make the two-deep on LSU on this years team. Plus our offensive coordinator is retarded. So there’s that.

LSU Auburn Last 20 Years, LSU leads 12-8...

Since becoming permanent rivals 1992 (30 Years)
LSU 16 Auburn 14

Last time in Auburn (2020) Auburn 48-11
One Second too late (2016) Auburn wins 19-18 after replays shows LSU did not get the play off in time.

My favorite (We need a repeat) 1994: The pick six game
LSU got out to a 23-9 lead in the fourth quarter, but then disaster struck — Tiger QB Jamie Howard threw five fourth quarter interceptions, three of which were returned for touchdowns for an Auburn win. (30-26). (Defense also scored out Touchdown in the First Half)

Didn’t we cancel the 2012 season? I don’t remember it

It doesn't matter who is on Auburn's team they always play LSU close on the Plains. I'm just hoping they used of all their luck last week against Mizzu. Damn, Auburn is one lucky team.

Yeah, I will not be disappointed with a loss. Tough place for LSU to play no matter how good the program is.
