Auburn 2026 Ceiling - 5 Wins?

Sept. 5: vs. Baylor
Sept. 12: vs. Southern Miss
Sept. 19: vs. Florida
Sept. 26: vs. Vanderbilt
Oct. 3: at Tennessee
Oct. 17: at Georgia
Oct. 24: vs. LSU
Oct. 31: at Ole Miss
Nov. 7: vs. Arkansas
Nov. 14: at Mississippi State
Nov. 21: vs. Samford
Nov. 28: at Alabama
Even if I am being charitable, I only see 5 wins on this schedule. In light of the other thread about the locker room poison of only 24 players splitting the proceeds of the Baylor game, and the general consensus that the Russian they hired from USF is in way over his head, could we see a full blown ATPB level meltdown by season's end?

Tough to predict outcomes of these games with so many new coaches involved in the league this year.

7-5 with that schedule, 4 game losing streak in October. split with Florida vandy. might get Bama if Brown stays healthy. The QB is a game changer and something Auburn has not had in awhile.

I think Auburn is going to be way better than most think. They will slip up on somebody , just hope it is not Bama .

That Auburn - FL game is really big for both of us to get started in a good way. That Baylor game should be a win for sure if Lagway still can't read a defense.

I don’t know where you’re reading that Drago is in over his head. Everything I’ve seen, heard, and witnessed is that he is insanely detail-oriented and buttoned up and has a plan for everything. That is reflected in his recruiting plan and execution. Stunningly successful even after 5 straight losing seasons.
Now…Do we have the talent to win a ball games this year? Who knows? We lost a bunch of talent in the portal, but I think this will be a much better coached, disciplined team who makes fewer mistakes. Is that enough to win 6? Yes. 8? Remains to be seen.
