MSU. Time to take one for the SEC. MSU getting probation is good for everyone involved.

Auburn's got their own issues with players claiming they received extra benefits. Hell, four of 'em went on TV and exposed the AU program and coaching staff.

What were the reputations of those players? I feel like that would have an effect.

If Eric Berry went public and said he got paid, I'd be pretty upset. If Gerald Jones did it, I'd be ridiculing him and attacking his credibility, even if I thought it may be true. Either way, the negative publicity would suck.

And that's the gist of it in the court of public opinion.

Because some dipshits with a clear agenda relentlessly attack Auburn, and come up empty handed every single time, we must be guilty...

Who you talkin 'bout?

Bond?
Bell?
Rogers?
McClover?
Ramsey?
Gray?
Reddick?

Who is relentlessly attacking Auburn? Looks like some of your own fambly members are on attack. Y'all need to reign those Tigers in quick. Or is it too late?

You paid him. Not just offered. Money actually changed hands. Bama got in trouble, and Means was free to transfer to Memphis and play.

What's that got to do with the price of tea in China?

Why the frick would a player that was NOT disgruntled snitch on his team? Of COURSE it's players that have an axe to grind. That doesn't mean they're making it up.

why would we be under an investigation for Cam Newton when he didn't attend here and we obviously refused to pay his father the amount requested?

them interviewing people and asking questions about State's involvement, and us being the suspect in the investigation are two very, very different things. People are just stupid

Their reputations are complete garbage now in AU's eyes. Prior to the HBO expo they were "Family" and they were loved, especially McClover (for killing Brodie) and Chaz (chopblock) Ramsey.

Now, they are vampires accused of sucking the life out of the fine AU program. They are traitors and can't be trusted...

It's not like their testimonies on HBO didn't have at least "some" correlation to Terry Bowden's testimony many years ago..... But, we shouldn't believe anyting they say.

Bond- Rogers got up and paid a $48,000 down payment. When they met at the motel, the coaches shite their pants and said no mas. Then CN got in touch with TT at aburn and sold cam for $200,000. CN is a sharp dressed dude.
Made monies from both schools plus what he robbed Kiffen of.

Investigation=interviewing FWIW

And to your first statement, if shady stuff is happening at your school, even though the player did not attend, you can still get in trouble

When has this ever happened EVER before in NCAA history where a school got in trouble for recruiting a kid who NEVER enrolled there.

Paul F. just stated on Outside the Lines that he no longer believes a word that comes out of Cam's mouth and has a hard time believing that Cam didn't know his dad was shopping him around now.

Makes me believe that he knows something is coming and it doesn't have to do with MSU.

Not one fricking thing.

I've probably pissed some folks off in here.

I just think both MSU and AU should hope and pray the NCAA is finished with anything "Newton".

Because if they aren't, it can't be a good thing for anybody but the muli-million dollar Newton's.

I'm not saying it would be a happy player. I was asking if those were guys that people would have taken for liars before the issue. That's why I originally referenced Jones.

no it's not. You interview people to get info on the school you are actually investigating.

State is in no way being investigated- Auburn is. And thats common knowledge
