So your fans can slander my neighbor but I if I hint about your beloved college of trying to entice kids by breaking NCAA rules while on a visit to AU you now have to have evidence. You guys did not need evidence to say Lache has no class. I gave you evidence that Lache has more class that ML and MD. Now here is another; what college is known to be in the top five for NCAA violations?

So AU was cheating. Then why did he pass on LSU?
Get over yourself you butthurt corndog.

So why post that crap on this board. You guys should have went after the guy or guys who wrote about Lache with hearsay information and not copied/pasted it on this board. So the best thing right now is for you guys to get this thread deleted.

Wait, what?

I didn't post that crap on this board......somebody else did. Go back and look at the OP in this thread.....sheesh.

Me too to be honest.....I'm sort of lost on the whole thing though....

I quit reading anything about the LS recruitment a while back and it seemed like Auburn and LSU both moved on at around the same time........ but that's based on internet postings, so I know I have to take those with a quarter ton of salt.

At the end of the day, I'm totally confused on this kid going to Oregon. Recruiting is hard to figure sometimes.....

I think LS' enjoyment of the process was a bit much for the likes of those entertaining him.

I don't think it worked out quite like he had imagined, and the end result was Oregon.

Hope he does well. I also think at some point he would have rathered LSU or Auburn, but things didn't work out that way.

As far as the accusations of Auburn using SMU style recruiting, I have no doubt in my mind. No proof and I really don't care. A stronger Auburn means a stronger LSU.

The only possible explanation I can come up with for Chizik to have been hired after his two seasons at Iowa St. is that he would be willing to play ball. I won't put him in a Kiffin category by no means, but I think he's willing to turn his head the other way.

If it weren't for the recent violations involving McCarthy, I would be skeptical about LSU's haul today. I might even had applied for one of their summer jobs.

So you are going to believe a butthurt corndog post hearsay on the web. Good plan.

It is absolutely unphantomable that a kid would like to come in to an SEC school and compete for immediate playtime instead of having to redshirt or greyshirt.

BTW Tommy Thingpen was name recruiter of the year at UNC. Was he cheating then?

Wha aboout Trooper at UT, was he cheating? OK Ill give you that one.

But there are people that can just recruit. An example is Doc Holliday. He pulled in more 4stars last year at West Virginia than Rich Rod did his whole time there. Look it up.
Chizik is not retarded. He knows that recruiting is the lifeblood of a program. So he hired people that are known recruiters, and is paying them well.

You are one step behind, they hired Chizik because HE knew how to look the other way.

Why else do you go after a "home grown" guy that's currently 5-19 in the Big 10?

Basically paying a recruit to come visit/commit to a particular school....here's a link

SMU SCANDAL

As for the original post....yea, the American Eagle guy was harsh, but I think what he meant was Lache's high-profile personality didn't fit in with the "all for one, one for all" philosophy Auburn is trying to set. Whether it's true, who knows. It sounds plausible.

You keep saying Born is butthurt, but I don't see how you can say that. Born has never pushed LSU on Lache. Lache goes to him for advice. He's happy Lache did what's best for him.

It's simple:

Born, upset that a certain Aubie bashed (his friend) Lache's personality and character, makes accusations that AU was cheating (given Auburn's track record in that area, it's a sore subject to bring up)
The Aubies, pissed that someone accused them of paying recruits, say Born is "butthurt" because his friend didn't attend his university (LSU)
