Mizzou fans, what do I need to know about coming up for a baseball game? I'm coming up for the LSU series Easter weekend.
Do I need to buy tickets online or can I just get what I want day of the game? Does your crowd show up I ranked teams are in town?
What hotels are close to everything and good to stay at?

I'm thinking if you bought tickets on line well before the games, they might throw in the hotel room

I think that if you just bring a couple of lawn chairs you should be aight.

I don't think any mizzou fans on this board have ever been to a baseball game.

Do you even need a ticket?

ArHog, we were scratching and clawing to make sure we had Ark -LSU series tickets.
Experienced nothing close to that when I called the Mizzou ticket office.

Stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites on Stadium or Stony Creek Inn - both are walking distance to Taylor Stadium if you don't feel like driving. Both are nice hotels too.
You could probably get a ticket when you get there. I'll be the first to admit Mizzou isn't up to SEC baseball standards yet. But we'll get there. Coach Jamieson has had some very good teams, we're just in a down year.I'm sure by Easter the foot of snow currently on the field will be gone.
You'll enjoy Columbia - it's a great college town.

Easter? I would recommend warm clothes.
Here are a few pics from my trip to CoMo a few Easters ago

How could you drink beer with that frozen scarf on your face?
Thought that could of been a photo of an umpire at Baum trying to decide if he should call the game or not.

I honestly thought Missou didn't have a baseball team

Shouldn't have any problems getting tickets. Even with the switch to the SEC and the buzz it created, I don't think those will be hard to come by.

I think some Mizzou fans may feel this way as well.
