And A&M is no holier than thou. All big time schools have a bottom line and that bottom line is winning..yes, yours too. Have you heard a Johnny Manziel interview? Winning sells merch, brings in more students, gets you in big payout bowls and gets bullshite companies like Nike or Addidas to pay you tens of millions just to wear their shite.
No coach anywhere at anytime has ever been fired because of off the field issues. The school would say that as an excuse but it was always because they weren't winning. The murder that involved a Bama basketball player a couple years ago, should he have been at least suspended? Hell yes, without question but the bottom line was a national title was in sight.
Back in the 80's an Auburn QB was down on the southside of B'ham the night before the Iron Bowl. He got into a fight, got arrested, the cops called an asst coach who posted bail and he played the next day and Auburn won the SEC title.

But CSPD is a different breed. They no knocked an Aggie football players apartment when Fran was coaching for a guy that failed to pay a fine on an expired rabies license. Seriously.
We had another incident where a running back got chased down (also under Fran) by a cop in full gear. That was embarrassing on multiple levels.
More recently our legal problem guys have wound up in places like Baton Rouge, only to be sent away from there as well. You know you are a bad egg if you get kicked off the LSU team.

Lol. Look up arrest of A&M players in the last year, including 3 in 1 month, then add in a murder by poisoning of a mother and unborn child on the part of A&M coaching staff in March.
