In what has been a QB dominated league recently, it seems odd the first one listed isn’t until #7… Arkansas’ Jefferson.

LSU sure could've used McGlothern this season...

As far as I can tell, the top ten are all pop up ads.

Barring injury, or a complete loss of any accuracy, I doubt Milton will finish the season relegated to “second tier”…

Brock Bowers - first TE to win the Heisman?

If Beck can get him the ball - heck yes.

Bowers is an excellent talent, but unfortunately he’d probably have to double his numbers from a year ago… from the article:

quote:

1. Brock Bowers, TE, Georgia At 6-foot-4 and 230 pounds with 4.5 speed, Bowers is a matchup nightmare at tight end for opposing SEC defenders. The California native led Georgia in catches (63), receiving yards (942) and tied for tops on the team in touchdown grabs (seven) last fall.

It took 15 games to get those lofty numbers…

Personally, UGA is better and more difficult to stop when they distributing the ball all over so I am fine with him not having "the numbers". He will get his recognition either way. Even with the relatively easy schedule, I am guessing that UGA will use those presumptive blow-outs to get non-starters valuable experience, so they are ready to, ahem, contribute if needed when they games get interesting. I will let other teams push the numbers to certain individuals to go for individual glory, only to have those same teams cry when their stars are hurt and no one is ready to back them up.

I agree.

Bama and OSU lost to UGA because they were too one dimensional.
All of the Heisman talent. But none of the proper playcalling all season to prepare them for the playoffs.

Milton will have much better stats than KJ this year and I'd bet really good money with anyone on that statement. Squirrel white and both our RBs will be ranked near the top as well post season. Stupid list.

Well I'd hope so considering KJ plays in a run first offense...

Maason Smith is in the top 10 even coming off an injury and that VolNavy clown was acting like he was a nobody when he got hurt.

If there is any doubt Napier took over the least talented gator team in my life. This past month has confirmed it.

I hope he gets time to try to rebuild and can coach his guys up.

He really does do a lot right.
