Mizzou with 7, would be 8 if we didn’t lo$e Luper to Georgia. Y’all can take it for what it’s worth, but Mizzou has a 9-10 win roster and schedule set up if our former 5 star Miami transfer QB works out.

2nd best team we faced last year.

With Leary and a much better OL, Brown and Key are going to work their way up the list at WR.

Wow surprised you say this after he lit you guys up in Alabama two years ago in the shootout that took a miracle catch in the endzone for you guys to pull it out. I respect Bama football, no slight, but his numbers are off the chart even when unhealthy like last year.

If he would've stayed healthy last season he could've joined the illustrious SEC 30 passing TD, 10 rushing TD club.

Here are the members:
Tim Tebow - 2007, 2008
Cam Newton - 2010
Chad Kelly - 2015

I am 100% positive there are not 3 better punters in the league than Thorson.

Needs to be more consistent. For every boomer, there's a 30 yarder. Didn't punt much last year and didn't have many close games, so we don't remember those.

Not really any complaints on the Alabama front. Seems fair.

Not surprised at KJ being first team. He the best proven QB coming back. He probably means the most to his team.

Do not sleep on some of the new names you seeing though.

He didn't have a great year last year. Super talented but he's got to take his game to the next level this year.

We have some other guys like that who I like and feel good about in new systems but have things to prove.

Dumb question.
How much of that is on Dallas?
How much of that is playing out of position?

I've read a decent amount about Turner and Anderson Jr being asked to do things for the team that are not part of their specialties.

I don't know enough to know how much of it effected the rest of his game (which came and went last year), but he and Will were certainly not used well by the last DC. Pete overthought things, especially in big spots, instead of just letting great players do what they do best - and that happened most often with our edge guys.

It's one of the small reasons people are cautiously optimistic about Steele. He's had flaws in the past, but there's no doubt that he lets his guys do what they do best and play at full speed.

I appreciate the response.

It was one of the agonizing things to watch in 2012 after Abry Jones got hurt... 350 pound Jonathan Jenkins giving up his nose spot to play 3, 4i, and 5 techniques. He was athletic for a big man.
But at some point, we are hurting at 2 spots. Not just 1 with all of the ill advised shuffling.

Ole Miss fan that has lost 6 of the last 7 games to Daddy LSU.

Didn’t LSU rush the field for 33% of those wins against little brother!?

2 of the last 3 times LSU has beaten ole miss in Baton Rouge they’ve rushed the field.

I don’t think Ole Miss has ever rushed the field after beating LSU.

Who is daddy and who is little brother again?

#1 - I have personally rushed the field after we beat LSU in 2013.

#2 - Don't engage him.

I called him a good college QB and people still took it as a slight

Look at these lists from the past. Of all the QBs who were first team SEC, where would KJ rank? Probably near the bottom, right? Doesn't mean hes bad.

Not if the hogs go 7-6 again and 3-5 in the conference.

The teams that lost the most to the NFL draft always get hit the hardest when it comes to next year's heroes in the SEC. There are so great players that will soon have their close-up.
