The response of the fans wasn't.

I think between FSU and UF these fans prove one thing, that they will jump to the defense of the player no matter what, regardless of whether he is guilty or not. Shame shame Florida people.

The majority of Gator fans supported the suspension, but now that the complaint has been withdrawn I am not sure how you expect people to react.

So Gator fans weren't posting pictures of the girl in question?

I've followed this pretty closely and haven't seen any identification. I saw one post where someone supposedly linked to the girl, but it was deleted almost immediately.

Not that I have seen.

Fixed that for you.

I would read the statement that came out yesterday describing the conduct of the "alleged victim" since Saturday after the TN game, through Sunday and including sexual relations with another man, and postings on social media without signs of trauma after the alleged incident.

The University has lifted the suspension, but the UAA hasn't reinstated him yet. Here's hoping they follow suit!

I would say, in fairness, that your fanbase was far better than FSU.

I did see someone post her picture here. I'm not all that sure that the accuser withdrew her accusation because it didn't happen or because she knew she was going to get slut-shamed. But these things have a way of working themselves out in the sense of ultimate justice. If Treon's a good kid who was falsely accused, he'll probably keep his nose clean. If not, the 3rd or 4th accusation, it will be tougher for him to get out of.

It's not. But I haven't seen a single Mizzou fan wish for DGB back on this board. It may have happened.

There's bigger things than football by a long stretch. And the University should always demonstrate that.

It seemed most, at least here, supported it and the only bitching I saw by multiple UF fans were over Machen's statement. The only fan I saw lose his shite over the suspension wasn't even a Florida fan.

See, that's why y'all don't really belong in the SEC.

...well, that, and the fact that y'all are Yankees.
