Says the fan of the team that the polls HORRIBLY overreacted to when they beat Notre Dame in 2016. From unranked to 10th to 5-7.

Definitely don’t have Clemson or Ohio state over OU, but other than that I agree.

Not with only scoring 3 offensive points.

How about with giving up only 3 offensive points?
Check back and let me know the last time Clemson scored only 3 points.

That said:

1)Alabama
2)Ohio State
3)Georgia
4) Oklahoma
5) Texas A&M
6) Clemson

Transitive property in football? Buffalo rang up 70 on Kent if you want to play weak mentality.

Kent State allowed 35 points to Akron last year. The same Kent State team that allowed A&M 41 points.

Auburn fans: Nobody is saying we're going to be great because of the Akron game.

Also Auburn fans: We are going to beat everyone, did you see the Akron score?

We are not a top 10 team right now. Not until the QB and WR’s figure things out. A lot of terrible passes last night. Also, I’m concerned that our all world true freshman right guard got completely dominated by a Kent State defensive line. Embarrassing.

Ogunbiyi is a RS Freshman and Robinson is a RS Sophomore.

If you are referring to Foster, he took over at center.

Going off memory, I could have sworn he was at RG when he got completely blown up on that fourth down play. I could be wrong of course but regardless of what position he was at, that play was a head shaker.

Aki missed his assignment and Foster tried to block 2 men on that play.

Did you watch any games yesterday? There were not a whole lot of top 10 teams that played. nobody looked impressive. I still think A&M and Oklahoma figure things out and become a force.

Clemson MIGHT, since they play in the ACC they have time to figure it out, but it's going to be hard for them to hide their OLine.

Just my opinion.

We had almost 600 yards with 5 turnovers and a turnover on downs, so effectively 6 turnovers. So even though our offense moved the ball at will, averaging almost 8 yards per play, those turnovers made the game feel tight and sloppy.

We also had a number of killer 15 yard penalties, at least 3 of which were complete and total BS. The officiating was so bad that Jimbo ripped them after the game which will surely result in a big fine.

If we can clean up the turnovers, we have a chance to be a solid top 10 team. If not, we may be more like an 8-4 team with a lot of youthful mistakes costing us games.

Hell, we didn’t look top 25! But, us Sooner fans have seen this every year. I have faith that Riley will have us rolling by October 1st. Having a you g head coach has its perks, but there is still a lot of learning going on.
