I think I am only ATPB guy left so let me try to explain it.
the FBI had wiretaps in the largest lobbying firm in bama, (which bizarrely was the big gun for both Democrats and Republicans) and a bunch of legislators for almost a year. This lead to a bunch of indictments and eventually plea deals etc. On one of the wiretaps there was a talk about paying Auburn players and Scam Newton. One of the primary targets was Milton McGregor, who you could write a book about it. (Milton at one time was a CIA contractor, during Iran Contra, flying out guns, and drugs, the Barry Seale of bama, the bush boys worked for him etc. )
He owned an non regulated casino right outside Auburn with a secret slot machine that paid out big to his friends etc to play. The was also pissed at the governor at that time, who he felted duped him out of 500k in one of the infamous pac to pac transfers. He made no secret that if he was convicted, he was bringing everyone else down with him, and he had dirt in everyone. He that Governor was indicted, and he was dirty as shite, that would have been 3 in a row.
So the thread was really about the history and level of corruption in the state of Alabama not just Auburn area from “the machine” to today. The feds were going to “clean up bama “.
Most of the serious posters were reporters, lawyers, retired or active FBI, Cops, Judges etc. I was drawn to it because some of the people involved were old friends of my father, who died when I was 18, but shared a lot of shite with me before he died.
Somehow, incredibly, Mcgregor, was found innocent at the trial, and the FBI threw up the hands and said frick it, didn’t indict anyone else, never released the newton tape and closed the whole thing down. To this day, I don’t know how he got off and I am a trial lawyer. There were supposed to be waves of indictment’s, everyone in politics in bama was scared shitless, but that was it. Game over.
With that the ATPB thread just died as it was completely tied to the FBI investigation, and I always suspected a tool used by it.
Someone probably will right a book on it, if you could do FOI on all the FBI info, or interview the people would be really interesting if even 1/3 of the shite was provable. I think a few more key people have to die first though.
:wellthereitis.gif So many fools on this website.

If the FBI was leaking information to Qnon and was run by retired judges, spooks, law enforcement, about shite they knew etc you would be correct.
About a dozen people got felony convictions and Jail time out of the McGregor investigation.

You lost a ton of credibility admitting your involvement and posting as if it was a real thread about real info.

This might be the most telling. The FBI routinely walks away from cases where they have actionable criminal behavior.
The keyboard warriors in their Buster Generation Parents basements made an Orwellian leap to a bit of dirt being shared by butt hurt SEC coaches who weren't from the SEC in a window of time where Sports Journalist were trying to figure out how to break stories in the infancy world of twitter, blogs and vlogs.

Are you really trying to convince yourself that you're not a sucker and a fool for believing all of that?

Milton McGregor Indictment

Nobody disputes Milty was corrupt or found not guilty. Rich people get off all the time in this country. The fact that idiots believed it was connected to Auburn football and some idiots may still believe it is the part that is so funny.

As The Plains Burn - blueTunaTiger compilation pdf
A concoction of the cheating garbage that has ALWAYS been at Alabama.
and if you examine it carefully you can see gooberhood all over it - a tale of inbred moronic wishes drawn up in some alcoholic/bookies beer soaked living room

Props to TutHill for stepping up and having the courage to display his utter insanity as an object example of that time for all Post-ATPB’ers to observe, point, and laugh at.

The best synopsis I can give is that Alabama and LSU fans are extremely stupid and gullible.

What was fricking pathetic was all the thread deletions they did when the ncaa cleared AU, and we started giving shite right back. Bitches.
It was almost like Joe Biden ran the website.
Terrible.

Nailed it - to Expand, Jack Miller kept that entire clan out of trouble through his ties to both the Democratic and Clinton Machines. His main funding vehicle was Bobby Lowder’s banking empire, led by Colonial and TBW. The ties to Auburn are well known, so much so it nearly cost them Accreditation in 2005.
BOOGS don’t want to admit it, but he’s the real cancer w/in their Ath Program.
Tut, there are more of us still around than you know.
