re: Hire Bobby Petrino and outscore everyone…screw it…

Way past prime Petrino.
In future elections for Louisiana governor, it will be necessary to answer this question….

Will you interfere in LSU athletics including coaching hires?
Yes or No.
Yes or No.

I’ve gotten a hundred of these corporate memos written with the same smiley face rhetorical flourishes, designed to keep the huddled masses in a Xanax state of unmerited hopefulness.

There is no Kiffen.

re: Tim Tebow just nailed it

Tebow would be a great AD.
He could hire a great coach.
Narrative about LSU after BK debacle would change in a minute.
Everyone in football respects the man.
Would be a bold, positive, hire.

Do you think Saban is enjoying holding McAfee’s chair and playing second fiddle to a shirtless ringmaster? The words “may” and “might” were appropriate.
Watching Saban’s face as McAfee uses him as prop on SC…

May answer the question of why Nick might entertain the idea of taking a position at LSU.
Nick Saban, Jimbo Fisher, Pat Narduzzi are three others who were hired as head coaches from coordinator ranks.
Nick Saban, Jimbo Fisher and Pat Narduzzi are others who came to head coaching roles from coordinator ranks.
Bill Belichek, Mike Tomlinson, Andy Reid came from coordinator roles.
For all those who say we shouldn’t consider hiring a coordinator..

Georgia and Oregon have done all right with Kirby and Lanning.

More than any other school searching for a coach.
LSU is the No.1 option.
LSU is the No.1 option.

“It’s the smart bet.”
How so?
Please explain.
If LSU wins, will it still be a smart bet?

Thank you for the good tip.
“what was Jesus like”
I’m still following Him.
I’m still following Him.
You are correct, sir.
I’m the dumbass boomer (add your adjective) who posted the false Nussmeier news

It came from a Pete Thamel parody account. My sincere apologies to all.
I’m 83, and I’ve been a member of this forum since 2009, and a LSU Tiger fan since I was maybe 8 or 9 listening to Tiger sports on my small portable radio.
Some of my greatest sports memories were watching great football, basketball and baseball games across these many decades, including the 2019 National Championship game.
I was privileged to meet Billy Cannon and Bob Pettit who were heroes of my youth.
I joined Tigerdroppings for a sole purpose—to glean all the information possible about LSU sports. I know that not everything here is accurate, but I find that most times I get to the truth, and I’m okay with that.
I have observed that some on the board are not very forgiving of the mistakes of older members. Today was my time in the barrel for target practice by those who were offended by my error. I certainly intend to be more careful.
I work every day to improve my technical skills as I am aware of my shortfalls.
Thank you for hearing me out.
