With all of this said, I still cant get over States Defense. They easily could've packed it up with all of the woes on offense, that D staff has those guys playing some good ball

To be fair, Arkansas and UK are both pretty meh offensively (and UK went into an offensive shell once they realized State was going to hand them the game).

This is what you get when you try to run a pass happy offense in a conference that, well, used to emphasize solid defense.

We all told you 6 wins was the ceiling, maybe it's 3 now.

Hell I hope so. Start cutting. All support for coach Leach. Cohen needs to get out of the way. Let's get rid of the losers and the thugs. Bunch of chumps.

It has little to do with discipline and everything to do with personnel not fitting the system. State has next to no talent at WR and WRs play a huge role in the offense. The OL, with the exception of Cross, are all run blockers by nature. Costello was nice in theory but as I said multiple times in the preseason in an attempt to quell expectations, Costello played poorly against every good defense he faced and was on the way to the bench prior to injury.

Coaches who are getting humiliated love to lean on “discipline.” I expect Kylin to opt out within the next 2 weeks as there isn’t a lot more he can do to improve his stock in this offense.

I'm not making excuses for losing to MSU. They outplayed and outcoached us, but that loss stings even worse knowing that we lost to that absolute trainwreck of a program.

With no insult intended to my good buddy HS15 and the other State posters... this right here.

Now I am sure there are some bad apples on the State team that need to get sorted out. There are times when a team can do addition by subtraction when they get rid of some locker room cancers.

That having been said wide scale purges is usually a coach lashing out after getting embarrassed. We saw it with Chad when he was at Arkansas. Morris ran off darn near half our team and we would have loved to have had most of those players this year. I fear that State is in danger of throwing the baby out with the bath water.

Something happened after LSU. Yes LSU isn’t that good but the team appeared Saturday to have completely fallen apart. Lack of mental toughness after being humbled by Arkansas

And Leach will cut players if they’re poison to the team.

Leach is a strange dude. He spent the entire off season in Key West, so the players don't really know him.

And his MAGA love is not going to go over well with the kind of players he needs to win.

Welcome to 2020, where a coach demanding his players play with effort or sit tf down is considered "losing the locker room"

Boy, the pussification of football continues

And our pussy liberal AD will probably side with the players and reprimand Leach

The guy has never won a conference in decades as a head coach. I gotta admit I was fooled initially, but I'm convinced he'll be the first guy fired of this new crop of coaches.

He's not a great recruiter. Hell he's not even a good recruiter, and his overt politics is going to make that job even harder. Kiffin is going to crush him in recruiting. Can he really afford to send players packing - or even threaten to with any teeth when they all have extra eligibility?

Bottom line: this is still the SEC, and he is still an outsider. Without the gravitas (or hardware) to get the benefit of the doubt from players or administration his act can wear real thin quick. If Pirate Mike doesn't right this ship in the next couple of weeks he'll be docking in the WAC next season.

Already has a 4 star QB with 2 4 star WRs committed for the next class. We are talking about MSST here.

Ever wondered why Mullen bolting within a year of Cohen? Why your Women's coach bolted?

Yea Cohen needs to go. Our ATh. Dept was in the best shape top to bottom it’s ever been after Stricklin left and Cohen is slowly destroying it

Nobody gives a shite about that except the media

Vast majority of head football coaches are probably conservative

lol. After you've seen just how political this young generation is you still think that? You think elite recruiters stay away from politics because it's boring?
