Loser coach was betting against them 2 months ago (allegedly)

They could have folded tent easily

Doing better without him. Makes you wonder if he was tanking games for the gambling debts.

Absolutely amazing what they have accomplished. Should at least be an SEC version of a 30 for 30.

Definitely proud of the way they've rallied after dealing with one of the worst kinds of betrayals a team can face...your own head coach betting against his own players.

It's alao nice to be relevant in baseball for the first time in forever. Hopefully it's a sign of the program finally turning the corner rather than a one off story.

I don’t know about “many”. Maybe a loud and ignorant few.

Well, he wasn't betting on them to win.

That’s a definite possibility haha.

Team has overachieved either way.

WF might beat them, but no one can take away how this team has rallied after a coach betrayed them.
I can't imagine how those young men felt when it was discovered that their HC was betting against them!

The whole gambling thing has me invested in a Bama baseball team for the first time ever. Really want these guys to continue to succeed.

I feel like they are having one of the best years of SEC sports ever and are doing so under the radar. They get ridiculed for the LSU loss in football and the San Diego St loss in basketball, but they have been dangerously close to something pretty amazing.

After LSU series, Bama vs Wake is the series I’m most interested to watch. Bama hitters vs Wake’s pitching will be fun to watch.

Not really a Bama fan, but I love baseball, and I love a good baseball story and you guys have one. Awesome job on the turnaround; your boys have done something to really be proud of.

The one thing about Bama this year is that no matter the outcome of this SR those guys can hold their head up! I mean they have overcome one the worst things in college baseball history and are still in it. I am kinda rooting for those guys this year. Their coach is an asshat for betraying his team

It is a good sign for the future that the team resolved to keep fighting in spite of the disturbing shite about the former coach.
