Arkansas spent ZERO money on defense.

The entire defensive staff should’ve been left in Memphis. I’m not sure if they could effectively coach a 10 and under Park ball team

Turns out we’re still pretty bad. Really it’s the status quo.

I was thinking y'all had finally turned a corner this year.

And the thing is, it wasn't just the fumble that did the Hogs in. It was the horrific tackling throughout the game that put the nail in the coffin when a horde of Hog "tacklers" couldn't take down the Memphis backup QB running up the middle before he gained 11 yards and a game-clinching 1st down.

And Green making some really bad decisions again -- 2 picks and a ridiculous sack after running backwards that knocked the Hogs out of FG range. He does a lot of great things but offsets them to a degree with poor decisions.

All the Hogs had to do was take a knee and kick.

There was a minute and a half left in the game and Memphis had 3 timeouts left. We were trying to get the first down at the least and a touchdown which was probable and would have put the game away.

If we kicked the field goal Memphis, against our crappy defense, and 1:22 left with timeouts remaining drives down and either scores a touchdown or kicks a field goal almost guaranteed. Nowhere in the play call did it say for the fumble to occur. But it happened. Either way we shouldn’t have fumbled. Just like we shouldn’t have fumbled against ole miss but they were good defensive plays and they wound up costing both games.

Damn…

bet they do ball security drills all week.

You would think they would have worked on it after the way the Ole Miss game ended.

Sam said in his post game presser that they spent all week cleaning up their defensive mistakes against Ole Miss. Memphis has almost 500 yards and almost 300 on the ground.

Sam is coaching like he just wants to get the season over, deposit his checks, and retire.

If any of your teams lose to Arkansas then you deserve to be ridiculed.

Just as long as he beats ND. After that he can check out if he must. The Hogs could do all of college football a favor by taking them out of playoff contention.

Nah. If they were gonna do that, they would have done it the week before.

You're right.

He should have been fired after that awful Missouri game two years ago.

But the honeymoon was over when he lost to Liberty.

I can't believe they didn't at the very least dump Travis Williams this morning.

I knew this would be a long season when Alabama A&M on it's opening possession marched the length of the field and scored.

They will keep making every excuse known to man for Pittman.

Well if Pittman just had more NIL money then all these problems would be solved.

I guess they need more NIL money now just to beat Memphis and Liberty.

Not just at Memphis.

But at Memphis when the Liberty Bowl is a construction site.

Why do fans of SEC teams that play away games at small school like Memphis even think they possibly can compete in the SEC?

I know it feels bad now, but I think you beat ND by 12.

I was going to make fun… but all the hogs fans seem to already be monumentally down.

If Mizzou wants to increase its SoS then we should beg to not have to play you.

lol...Arkansas isn't beating Notre Dame. Even if we found a way to keep it close, we would do what we always do and choke it away at the end.
