Truly amazing - lsu wins a single title with a generational QB due to Bama's D being decimated by injuries and our generational QB being injured - and with all that, lsu barely hung on to win the game by 5 points in Bama's worst performance of the year - the crash back to reality will be a hoot....

First, the OP’s take is terrible. Second, your generational QB was fine physically. Third, LSU didn’t barely hang on to win. You had a fluke punt return for a TD where a face mask spun him close to 15 feet away from all the other defenders, a truck play long bomb, AND LSU took a knee inside the red zone to limit the margin of victory.

I have not seen a fanbase so desperate for attention after winning a national title since BYU in 1984.

3 titles in 17 years is not a fluke. Just saying the only team who competes with that stat is Bama.

Well, he did have ankle surgery two weeks prior, and every player I have seen have it is not fine physically, not for a month or two.

Same thing was said in 2010, 2013, 2014, 2016, etc.......
And if you think that Coach Saban is not going out on top, you have not paid attention. Alabama in the last 2-3 years has had bad luck with injuries, and still played for the the NC 2 out of the last 3 years.....

No excuses, even with all that, Alabama should have won the game. There is no excuse to ever lose to LSU in football.

You are right, Alabama did not, this time.....
But Alabama wins the vast majority of them......
