With Big 0 coming back it will be very interesting to watch this matchup.

I've been jonesing for the Bowers/Washington Double TE set for almost a month now. I wouldn't be shocked if we used it a shite load just because of all the run opps, middle range passing opps, and the chance to go long if we can get y'all scrunching in.

Not saying it's unstoppable (Hell, we haven't even seen it) but Bowers and Washington with our backs and Top WRs is a matchup nightmare.

UGA rushing game will force Hogs to bring everyone and play 5 or 6 in the box. UGA will still be able to rush for 200+ yards.

UGA hasn’t had an effective rushing game for quite some time. They’ve struggled running the ball against pretty much every good D they’ve played in the last 2 seasons.

Wydermyer is for real, too. I was wondering how y'all did, but I watched the game and only remember hearing his name a couple of times, so that tells you a lot.

I get it. We have some irrational posters, too. Florida has several. But their good posters are very good.

But to your point? Yeeeeeep!

The only thing stopping me from calling the upset is they played UGA close for a half last year and that combined with the Hogs playing very well will have UGA’s full attention

I mean,we did have Dwan Mathis starting at QB but I will give Odom credit for his 3-3-5 defense. It obviously confused Mathis and Monken.Im not expecting the same out of Odom with his DL depth but I think you're right about em trying to take away the deep ball and let's see how he defends Bowers and Washington (I'm very much hope he's ready to go but Kirby has a habit of holding guys out longer than expected)

I really need to watch the Arkansas A&M game to see what Odom's doing with the defense.

We made some personnel adjustments on the OL last week (Broderick Jones got most of the PT @ LT) and it seems to make an improvement but hard to tell against Vandy.

I think Odom will try some different blitz packages and see if he can get JT to throw a few picks. On offense I expect us to chunk a few down the field. Get a pick or two and hit a couple deep and maybe we win. It will be an interesting match up. But, given the disparity in the last 5 years of recruiting I fully expect Georgia to win this fairly convincingly.

I was honestly surprised because I was worried he would have a huge game since he has such a size advantage on Catalon, but our DL got so much pressure it was hard for Calzada to do much either way.

Curious to see if Odom sticks with the 3-man front this week or goes to an even front to try and generate more pressure. Dropping 8 works wonders against inexperienced QBs who don't know where to throw into the soft spots in the zone but Daniels isn't that green.

W/Darnell Washington coming back, Monken is gonna run a shite ton of 12 personnel w/him and Brock Bowers and they'll also be able to run effectively late in the game out of that personnel, also due to the focus being on those 2 studs.

Not to take away from your excellent analysis but Trident has a real case of the red arse going. Arkansas just pooped all over what was supposed to be a national title contender season for A&M. He's going to be salty for a while.

I think Arkansas has a puncher's chance in this game. The interior of the Georgia D-line might not be as good as the ends and their secondary can be shaky. Arkansas can, conceivably, move the ball up and down the field and have a shot at big plays because we have a ton of speed in our skill position players.

What I suspect happens is that Arkansas hangs around and makes Georgia miserable. We have to see how Georgia handles that. If they play up to their talent they take care of business down the stretch. But their big win this year is a close win over a Clemson team that sucks diseased moose wang. Arkansas has feasted on over rated teams with shaky wins.

This is a good post OP but this game smells exactly like Miss State in 2017 only this UGA team is better. OTOH it also feels a bit like ND in 2019, a game UGA still won but barely.

We've been pretty effective at moving the chains. We just haven't had the explosive plays that one would like to see in regards to the run game.

This will be a big game for UGA's short to intermediate passing game and working the RB's into the passing game. After doing some research I expect UGA to work the horizontal game to wear out the LB's and the outside run game to see if they can make those plays. Getting DWO back will help tremendously with this.

I also saw a cool stat from the Arkansas/AM game. 54% of Arkansas's yards came in the first 12 plays. If we can weather the storm I think we'll be okay.

Another cool stat is both UGA and Arkansas lead the league in net yards per play but UGA is a full yard above them.

All that said. It will be a battle hawg fans.

Clemson and UGA had all offseason to prepare for each other and the game had a playoff atmosphere.

Both teams were ultra conservative. We will not attack Arkansas the same way, one our qb is now well two we get alot of weapons back, and three, this is just a normal regular season game.

The stadium will be rocking as morning drinking is a special treat, no not really Athens is always drunk or high but the fans will be liquored up loud and elite...

FireDanMullen I was telling my son how pleasantly surprised how good Arkansas was playing against Texas. When I saw the Arkansas QB running down the field I saw a big guy that was talented and physical. A few weeks later I saw him complete a long pass of 50 yards against Tam and I told myself he can pass too. Let you tell you though Georgia got some dawgs on that Dline and I can see Georgia will put a stop to that running and make Arkansas struggle. So far Arkansas is the 3rd best team in the SEC West IMO. Dawgs just gonna be to tough baw and should win by 10. 27-17
