Hunter Yurachek completely fumbled that whole ordeal. Glad it's back, but he put himself in a no-win situation the way he handled it all.

I was OK with tennis being gone if it helped us afford to land a few stud D-linemen.

Both Tennis programs cost less than the spare change our football program leaves between the couch cushions. We weren't getting any stud D-linemen out of them being cut, we were trying to help pay off overly ambitious building programs and some fat payouts to fired coaches.

The Billingsley Tennis Center is named after George M. Billingsley. He and Sam Walton were best friends way back when.

I know the Waltons don't contribute much athletically. But axing the tennis program the way HY did was not a well thought out plan if we intend to court the Waltons and lobby them for money as NIL continues to evolve. It was a good way to further alienate them from the UofA athletic department.

While he was a welcome replacement for Jeff Long, Hunter has stepped on his pecker a lot. Particularly recently.

What a clown show from the AD, but moreso the board for approving this

How in the world do you not have the pulse of how this will be recorded and a clear concise message?

frick that makes the AD look horrific. How does he survive this? All of that was available to him if he did his job but it takes him embarrassingly cutting the program to get those funds
