If it were me, I’d put Arky over Bama in the NCAAT. The only arguments not to would be OOC schedule and an OT H2H game played in Tuscaloosa, neither of which should offset what happened in the SECT IMO.

Florida is still deserving of a 1 seed.

I think you can make a case for Arkansas, Bama, and Vandy to all be a 4 seed. I would think we may have played our way up to a 4, but I doubt the committee will have three 4 seeds for the SEC so somebody is probably getting shafted. I would say Vandy as a 5 with a worse conference record and two losses to Arkansas.

Vandy’s metrics are way better than Bama’s. They may end up a 3.

I think it all comes down to SJU, Bama, and Arky with 2 of those getting the last 4 seeds. I’d go with the tourney champs if it were me, and they both will have slightly better metrics than Bama as well.

I don’t understand how Vandy isn’t getting hurt worse for this or where all their Q1 and Q2 wins came from.

Not looking it up but pretty silly.

Sucks we lost to Kentucky and UGA.

I graduated in 2010.

I’ve been to the sugar bowl, elite 8 vs Baylor, both of Mike As SECT losses to UK, 2018 WS, Omaha 2 other times when we’ve got bounced.

Moved away from Nashville in 22’ and sad to miss this one.

Have about 10 leftover hogs still there tearing it up on broadway today.

Bummed.

It’s not close honestly.

In SEC games

Arkansas 16-5
Vanderbilt 13-8

Notable non-conference opponents

Arkansas-Duke, Houston, Michigan State, Texas Tech, Louisville
Vanderbilt-Saint Mary’s?

Head-to-head
Arkansas 2-0 (wins by 25 and 11 points)

Congrats to Arkansas. I can no longer troll them about not winning any hardware in the 21st century.

Bama’s going to be a 5 seed and that’s probably where they belong.
A one man/ sometimes two man team with a Sweet 16 ceiling.

Nope. Vandy's the one left holding the bag, but they didn't come out too bad for it. If they can handle Nebraska it's an easy trip to the Sweet 16.

Arkansas should be the SEC’s second highest seed. I don’t think I’m being biased in saying that.

Agree. Outside of UF (if the guards can hit 3’s, I think Arkansas has the most upside of the SEC teams in the tournament with Acuff leading the way.
