They have. But they were mediocre when the BIG XII was formed yet somehow beat Nebraska's arse every year in such heartbreaking fashion that Osborne went crazy, got a case of the red-arse, and finally fled the BIG XII for the B1G convinced it was all a conspiracy.

LSU, Arkansas, and Alabama will schedule or have scheduled Texas.
A&M will continue to avoid Texas while claiming they’re doing everything they can to try and play UT. It is really pathetic. They know Texas would beat them. But for now they can ride the coattails of better SEC programs claiming they would beat Texas since they won a game vs Alabama/LSU last decade.
Garbage fans, garbage tradition, McMansion stadium…

I actually am beginning to agree with aggy. There is nothing to gain when your heart is that broken.
If they split with Texas over the next 10 years, they’d be down something like 80 losses.
That is staggering.
And there is ALWAYS an excuse. We hear it with LSU.
Aggy was not that attractive of a program. You see it all the time with business partners that say, you’re just not an attractive opponent. It’s a program thing. LSU should know….they have 3 titles in the las 20 years. Aggy has zero in double that time……even T. R. I. P. L. E. That time. It’s just a program thing…..they wouldn’t understand. They don’t understand.
If they split with Texas over the next 10 years, they’d be down something like 80 losses.

It's kind of like Auburn playing UCF. Sure, you'll probably win. But you don't get much credit for it if you win and you'll be racked through the coals if you lose.

I agree for sure that the risk is massive but lets not act like it wouldn't be a huge story if A&M beat Texas after all that has happened.

It won't be. It'll be why did you only win by 9? They're just an 8-4 Big 12 Team breaking in a new coach. Blah blah blah. Just look how everyone reacted when we beat Lsu last year.

But we may never know until your leadership chooses to SACK UP like other sec teams that have ooc rivals. They ain’t scared.

You are just wrong about this unless you are trying to use this site as a barometer which I hope that isn't the case.
It would be a significant story the next time Texas/A&M play football and the winner will get some really good publicity from it. Both sides are scared of the loss and neither wants to be the bigger man. Its fine, it will happen eventually though.
