Saban to Arkansas would save Arkansas. He'd have a staff,he'd recruit the area well,he'd make improvements, you know, the things that come with Saban and his winning ways. Dont see anything else saving Arkansas

If they go, can they take Missouri with them?

I used to think that, but Arkansas can’t even keep most of the in state talent as-is
We do lose a few but we still get the vast majority of in-state kids we want. And the ones who do leave usually don’t amount to much. Only one that sticks out recently is KJ Hill.

You aren’t escaping your yearly beatings from MSU.
You better hope your new coach can still keep Ole Miss in their place.

I agree. Take Mizzwho and Aggie with you. We’ll send South Carolina back to the ACC and they can play Clemson without interruption. And then the SEC will truly be the SEC again. I liked the conference a lot better when it was 10 teams.

Why are you bragging about beating Bert and Chaggie? That’s like bragging about beating up the retarded kid, it’s probably just gonna get worse now with Pittman but still.

Arkansas has the most national championships of any team in the SEC, why would we leave?
All but one of them are in Cross Country or T&F. Yippee!

We were a missed pop up away a few years ago from being one of the few teams with a natty in football, basketball and baseball actually. But yes we are very good at track as well

The best in state player in 2020 went to A&M.

Clearly you know nothing of that kids story.

Arkansas still leads their series with TAMU by like 8 games even with this recent streak. Aggy history of futility in a microcosm

He is not originally from Arkansas. Also Chad's recruiting started to crumble, so instate recruiting was getting harder.

Kidding aside, they would still be able to compete in basketball and probably become one of the regular favorites to win the conference before each season in baseball

Bye. FSU says, thank you!

What the f are aggies crowing about?
Another leach in the SEC.
Congratulations on beating us 8 years in a row under the worst coaching in our program history. 8 years in a row is impressive. I'd guess with all that Aggie money and power plus that 8 year winning streak would mean ya'll are so far ahead of us in the head to head..... right???
wait...... no way --- this can't be ..... The Razorbacks lead the head to head 41-32-3 - only nine more wins to catch up to those mean ol Razorbacks!
POOOOOOOOOORRRRRRR AGGIES!!!
Get back to protesting your football team because they want to tear down some statues. #benchoutkyle

High school basketball is a big deal in Arkansas but that depends on what part of the state. Central Arkansas is dominant and some parts of South Arkansas. For a state of its size it produces a lot of high level prospects. I expect EM to compete for the SEC crown each year when he finally puts the pieces together.
High school baseball has exploded here in these last 5-6 years. When DVH got here, very little players were from Arkansas. Now looking at the roster before Covid came along, it had 13 Arkansans. That is unreal because back in 02 when he got here, these high schools couldn't develop these players. DVH will probably coach here until I would say another 10 years but he could be here until he dies. I still expect to make it to Omaha each year.
The high school football in Arkansas is the weak link here. It started to decline when the little Rock school districts began to make one bad decision after another. It is a long story but the football in the area used to be much stronger. But that is beginning to change as teams like Bryant and North Little Rock won state titles. A new high school is born after combining struggling school districts. I expect recruiting to get better in the state.

Not sure why any Hog fan is trying to talk shite about anything. The last couple years have statistically been the worst in the entire history of the program and the SEC has nothing to do with it. There are high-school teams that could have beat us we were so bad. Basically almost all of this points back to Jeff Long and his terrible leadership.
The good news is we drained the swamp. Fired Jeff, fired the coaches.. we didn't have a AD in place so we hired that PoS that is now at Auburn.. took a couple hours to see how bad he was and a couple years to fire him.
Now we have what seems to be a solid AD, a coach that people are starting to believe in so the future is bright again.
Always the same dumbass story with Razorback fans. Just on the cusp of greatness! Recruiting like never before! THIS coach in the present is doing unheard of things and going to turn it around! Petrino sucked! The excuses and homer spin gets old.
A move to the Big 12 makes sense geography wise at the very least.
"Doesn't matter if fans don't come to the games..we have that SEC $$$$ so we don't need ya!!"
Y'all need to think about what the possible scenerios are if no football this year what does that mean for the SEC tv contract? Do you still get that automatic 20-30 million dollars? Food for thought.

We would’ve had the 3rd best recruiting rank in the Big 12 in 2019 and 4th in 2020. We’d compete better in the Big 12.

The J.B. and Johnelle Hunt Family Baseball Development Center
Yeah.... that's 3 Fortune 500 company donors and a NFL owner.
We are one of the only collegiate baseball programs that are self sufficient and we take zero money from taxes and student fees.
Post your programs donors. You might not survive without football. FOOD - FOR - THOUGHT!!!
