Let's not kid ourselves. LSU, BAMA, OSU, Stanford, THEN Arkansas.

Said this on another thread but I think OSU-Arkansas would be one of the best/most entertaining possible matchups if there had been some sort of playoff. Lots of athletes and speed on the field and two good QBs to get them the ball, along with enough defense to make it fun to watch.

Oregon threw up 55 on Stanford, and won by 33. in reality, it goes like this

1-2 LSU BAMA
3 OSU
4 Oregon
5 USC
6 Stanford
7 Arky

No joke, my dad and I talked about this very scenario, because if there was an 8 team playoff this year then Arkansas WOULD have played OSU, #3 vs. #6

Yup. Put that game in Jerryworld, close distance to both fanbases... As a college football fan I wish they could make this shite happen. A playoff would only further prove SEC dominance IMO

Sure why not. If you count the SEC as the country, which I do.

Football played elsewhere is really irrelevant.

There is no reason for you to continue to hype Oregon and the Pac12, the regular season is over and the bowl season is about to be complete with only a couple bowl games remaining.

it really pained me to type that out. on a neutral field though, I only see Arky having a chance against Stanford

Would put Arkansas at #5 or #6, certainly ahead of Stanford, but behind OSU and Oregon.

Hard to seperate 3 through 6 or 7, but if Arkansas played OSU or Oregon I don't think they win.

So, where does Arizona State fit in this order?

You do realize that the only ranked teams SC played all year was Stanford and Oregon?
