I was “whatever” till he laid it all out. 1 entire day lost to rest and recovery is a health issue. Not sure what 11am to 230 or 4 etc would make a difference but I’m sure they have a medical staff on top of it to fight it.

Do they have to go to Mass on Sunday or something? Why not sleep in Sunday morning in Utah and fly back Sunday afternoon? This is stupid.

When you schedule a school in the Mountain or West time zones, you know there's a good chance of a late start.
When you've perennially sucked for over a decade, you know you're probably gonna get the early game, at home, when you're looking to get your arse handed to you by one of the best teams in the conference.
Is what it is. The fact that we scheduled a series with Utah and they got the home game first says all you need to know about the recent history of Razorback football.
Rodney Dangerfield got, and deserved, more respect.

Poor guys.
They should be more concerned about their uninspiring coaching hire.
They hired by far the weakest of the sec new hires last year.

Who cares? They are young professional student athletes. Get over it and get making excuses for future losses.

11am is a great time for football, you own the TV slot and you are quickly on to prep for the next game whether home or away.

Thank god they aren’t in the big 10. AD would be issuing this statement every other week.

not like they have a chinee man's chance in Chiner of winning either.
They need to shut their pieholes and accept their roles as the SEC whipping boys that they are.

They are paid to play....STFU and play when you're told. Just like folks with real jobs show up on time to work or get fired.

The NFL laughs at this.
I understand the star players on the football team are just there to get a paycheck, but the majority of players on the roster are actually trying to get an education and aren't professional athletes. These guys are trying to get degrees that are worthwhile because they know they don't have a future in football after college. They actually have to go to class and study, unlike their NFL counterparts who just play football for a living.

SEC (and others) sold their souls to TV.
SEC commissioner Greg Sankey said the league provides input but ESPN has autonomy on matters of scheduling changes.
"We've communicated the displeasure [to ESPN] in advance, it hasn't changed," Sankey said. "That's one of those points of authority that's given to our broadcast partner. ... The squeeze with an early kickoff is not something that I'm thrilled about either, but we do delegate that authority as part of our TV contracts."
