Fwiw, I'd kind of rather have Musselman over Marshall.

Avery beat Gregg Marshall twice

At least Musselman didn't go 0-2 against Avery.

Good hire

Pigfeet got mad because Ethan Henderson didn't play, we get rid of Mike - who didn't play EH - and now he's upset again.

Pigfeet, you're better than this

Don’t you have anything better to do than make shitty threads about literally anything the university does?

That is a good hire. The SEC is getting better and better in basketball. Now that national perception is changing, the conference can be competitive w/ everyone.

The national perception of Musselman is all over the place. I can’t tell whether he’s a respected basketball coach or not.

Musselman is a high risk boom or bust hire.

Can he recruit away from the West coast? Can he translate his success to a Power 5 program? Was his upswing a mirage or is Arky buying low?

Know one knows the answers to any of these which makes this a fun hire from an outsiders perspective.

Interesting hire.

Lots of rantards will crap on the hire just like they did Stackhouse.

But he's had a long career and plenty of success at Nevada.

And like Stackhouse is a former Grizzlies assistant and G League champion.

He's been at Nevada for 4 years. Shut up. Been to 3 NCAA tournament in 3 of last 4 years. A total of 1 more than Anderson. Ridiculous. Yuracheck is a fool who couldn't hire a quality math tutor for his kid if he was in a room full of Asian teenagers.
