that's why goal posts are now collapsable. there's also some assumption of risk here. If you're rushing a field with thousands of people and trying to rip down goalposts, you're knowingly putting yourself in a situation where you could reasonably get hurt.

Yeah, Arkansas has been putting them down for awhile now. They had them down in 2014 against LSU too.
I will say that as someone in the student section in 2014 against LSU, you didn't really have a choice if you wanted to or not. Everyone was pushing behind you and there were a bunch of people actively trying to get out of the mob but couldn't until they were basically on the field. Don't think anyone got hurt but not fun for all.

Who cares. First notable win for their coaching staff. Been losing for awhile. A booster or boosters of significant wealth will write a check to offset.

Yeah we installed those years ago after our fans ripped them down twice in the same season. The school even tried to grease the goalposts with vasoline before the second time to prevent it from happening

THIS right here is what college football is all about. And to follow up on the "vasoline .........whatever"..
If you have never heard of this (good students being good students), it can be nice reading for a few minutes.

I still remember when I was 3,4,5 years old and AU played Ga Tech every year and in Auburn we always had a "Wreck Tech" with coe...ahem ..students (hot arse bitches in sleepwear parading in downtown Auburn) in pajamas all day getting ready to Wreck Tech.
