Did the Cadet's draw any sabers that day?

Pulled a saber and still got his arse kicked by a cheerleader! They've kept them welded into their scabbards since that day.

Part II

I googled "aauburn georgiaa water hose", exactly like that, and got this:

The game between the hoses

And neither here nor there but I have recently re-re-rerediscovered 1980's Stevie Nicks (.......and fleetwood mac). Sigh.....

The fine for "horns down" when tu joins the SEC. Funds to be placed in a reserve account accessible only to tu for D&I initiatives.

Book it.

The fine is due to the SEC rules.

SEC hates fun. When’s the last time you’ve heard of someone getting hurt in a field rush?

Does getting killed count as hurt?

How about trampled bad enough to require being airlifted to a trauma center?

Injuries happen, but the reality is the conference really isn't trying to stop it. With the money involved in SEC sports, $100k is pocket change. They just do it as a liability cover.

If they were serious about stopping it, every time it happened you'd lose a home conference game the next season. It would stop so fast you'd get whiplash.

I’m convinced it’s premeditated by the AD or someone at the executive level whether or not to let the fans rush the field/court. I’ve seen situations where there was no way you were getting on the field unless you wanted to get jacked up by security. After the game Saturday they immediately brought the field goal posts down so that it wouldn’t be dangerous. It wasn’t completely random.

Here is everyone's favorite writer from Orlando with a take on rushing the field/court.

What's the fine for shoving a goalpost into a section of fans?

That was the ultimate embarrassment. How are you going to pull a saber on a cheerleader then get your arse kicked?

Was there any property damage? Let the kids be kids - at least they didn't try to jam the field goal into the visitors section

Someone on the AU board told me that I was you, lol.

I am honestly really happy for all you pigs. It was a glorious old-fashioned SEC beatdown. I loved every second of it.

I, for one, warmly welcome you to the SEC. You have finally earned it.

Does the first infraction ever roll off? Or, can you rush the field in 2021 and be doubled up if you do it again in 2047?

Hunter told security to stand down, that they didn't care about the fine.

1st offense is 50k, which we were charged in 2014 after rushing the field.

Geez they don’t have a timeframe where this resets? I would say after 7 years it should be considered a first offense again

The embarrassment of rushing the field after beating the #15 ranked team is far worse.

LSU rushed the field twice in 2000, once after beating a Top 15 Tennessee team and another after beating a 3-5 Alabama team. Glass houses bud
