Yeah this isn’t the same type of ark team as prior years. Never know come tournament time. A little zone defense and hot hand at 3pt arc goes along way. We will see.

It’s a very realistic take. We don’t have three players that would start for most of the SEC. And we’ll beat your arse in CoMo.

You’re an embarrassingly bad poster.

The zone defense gave ark problems. Rebounding was the difference. Mizzou is under sized. Zone defense with some size could be an issue. Regardless entertaining evening.

I know Shaw isn’t completely game ready. But I’d like to see more of him on the floor to help offset the rebound issue.

I do like Shaw. Him and Carter seem very similar with Carter more polished on offensive side. Early in season so will be interesting to see how gates uses him.

And when Mizzou looked like they were running away with it, back on page 9 of this thread I made yet another Nostradamus prediction. I never get any credit

Thanks for the tip. My tip for Missouri is don't blow a 17 point lead next time

Can't believe we came back and won after playing so bad. If we don't figure out how to come out ready to play that trend is going to be our fatal flaw. You can't consistently start 10+ points down against good teams and keep winning. Cost us one at LSU and will cost us several more if we don't fix it.
Hopefully we found something with Pinion tonight that will help our issues with the zone. I was hoping Graham would contribute also but I guess he's in the doghouse for something.
Council can be as polarizing of a player as I've seen in a while. Couldn't have played much worse in the first half and ended up with 25.

Classic tale of two halves. Should be a good learning experience for Mizzou, they played sloppy with the lead. Can't get comfortable like that against good teams.

I would be very nervous with the way Arkansas is playing to start conference games... but we've played like this every year that Muss has been the head coach. We sort of coast early in the season and then put it together when it counts.
I'd say Missouri is well ahead of where I expected them to be in the rebuild process. They've still got some work to do but the pieces are mostly there.

Pinion just being on the floor was the difference. We did nothing against the zone without a threat of a shooter…which has been an issue all year. Glad to see another freshman step up

Pretty good prediction. You have watched the hogs before I see. They always play like poo the first half.

I hope that Pinion played his way into the starting lineup or at least the regular rotation. He's a very good outside shooter but he's tenacious on defense as well. That is a rare combination.

Porker. Way to take a post out of context. That post was referring to a wide open jumper for Sean East with two hogs in the area. Neither stepped up to get a hand in his face. The defensive intensity was really good after that.
Your shooting percentage the 2nd half was insane. You’d beat any team in the country shooting like that. I could wine about some ticky tack fouls and blah blah blah but it was a good win for the Hogs. I did get a little pissed when the fouls were 2 to 5 in favor of Mizzou and that massive arse run y’all went on the fouls were 9 to 5 capped off by that weak arse call on Councils good drive on Gormillion. But other than that, it’s what you expect in a road game. Good win.

Kansas won at Mizzou by 25.
Arkansas only beat Mizzou at home by 4.
Kansas also beat North Dakota St by more than Arkansas did.
Back on, baby.
