With the best closer, Kopps. We just have a will to win. Tell me a team with a better chance of winning it all in Omaha....I’ll wait. And before the LSU fans chime in with the dropped foul ball GIF, which I’m sure makes you feel better about the Mainieri debacle, that was a totally different team than this years club

Stop being so defensive. Yes, Arkansas looks like the best team in country and has a good chance to get to the finals. All depends on the matchups during the postseason.

Not being defensive at all, yes we blew it in the championship game. Just saying that GIF is and will continue to be overplayed. My point is this is a different club and looks to be the real deal. They just have no quit and find a way to win game in and game out

That's subjective. I'm sure you considered it overplayed after watching it live. I still happen to find it satisfying. That really does have to be one of the greatest chokes of all time. The error itself almost gets it there alone, and then add in the fact that it would have been the first championship for a school that fancies itself a baseball powerhouse. Too good to be true almost.

Arkansas has distanced itself from the rest of the pack. Yall's resume is outstanding. Regardless of how the regular season finishes you should have the #1 national seed locked up.

Exactly. I have exactly ZERO expectations that they will win it all. If they make it to Omaha they have met my expectations.
We just broke the streak for the team with the longest consecutive weeks as #1 in the nation. The previous streak holder was North Carolina in 2013.
Want to know who DIDNT win the title in 2013??....The regular season only matters so that you make it to the post season.
