Ole Miss has the back to back national champion cheerleading squad (something none of us ever mention) and we did it with smoke shows NOT homosexual milk men.

The corps of cadets are ROTC. I looked it up awhile back. 49% of them join the military as officers after graduation. That's a pretty big percentage.

At the risk of having my manhood questioned, I’ll step up in defense of this tradition. They’ve been doing this since Moby Dick was a minnow and back in the day when the word gay meant happy.
What they do is a time capsule to a simpler time which most of us weren’t born yet to witness. Though it’s viewed as odd nowadays it was pretty normal in the day. I kind of view that school as a step back in time.

Fun fact. Someone in the OT mentioned that all the commuter campuses have their own milk men as well who do the yell thing and I’m sure some other various questionable activities. So there’s even more of them around than we realize.

We need to do away with most of our traditions…we can start with the yell leaders and follow that up with grossly underperforming our resources and potential.
