While EV development and sales have declined in the U.S., they are increasing in other developed nations. GM and Ford haven't given up on EV development, they just had to retrench after the elimination of the tax credit and slowing of infrastructure.

Regardless, EV sales will rebound and probably gain nearly 50% market share in the 10 years.

Meanwhile, China is leading the way in EV development and is the big threat to the auto industry. So much so that Biden slapped a 100% tariff on China EV's.

Glad to see you living in your retro world fantasy with your pseudo macho bro mentality.

I drive a 4Runner, so this bears asking. What are you thinking about the gas prices right now?

So much winning… I drive a 5.7L Tundra 4x4 and I’m not thrilled with paying over $100 for a tank of gas…

But I’m thinking more about the farmers with real problems making ends meet having to pay so much more for diesel, gasoline, and fertilizer when commodity prices remain so low. And for our troops in harm’s way.

The average IQ of most of the posters on this topic is probably less than 50. I mean some of you are bordering on retarded. Especially the ones that are dogging on Tesla and have probably never even touched one much less ever driven one.

Tesla has always gotten 5-star safety ratings in all categories of the NHTSA safety testing. Making the Tesla one of the safest cars on the road. The only exception is the Cybertruck only gets a 4-star rating in rollover.

Tesla's are not for everyone but they are a great car for the right person. Their EV and autodrive technology is light years ahead of their competition.

I do not own a Tesla. My everyday driver is an F250 diesel.

My boss has his Tesla drive him everywhere. I'm not sure I'm that trusting but he loves it. Just holds meetings in his car while it drives him around town.

Once you get used to it you don't want to go back.

Really allows me to take back my commute time and make it me time.

Starkville Tesla Charging Stations:

700 MS-12 - Tesla Destination Charger - (1.1 miles from Davis Wade Stadium)

801 Russell Street - Tesla Destination Charger - (0.8 Miles from Davis Wade Stadium)

There are several other nearby charging stations, just not Tesla stations.

Oxford Tesla Charging Stations:

400 N Lamar Boulevard - Tesla Destination Charger - (1.4 miles from Vaught Hemmingway Stadium)

There are several other nearby charging stations, just not Tesla stations.

Doubt it. The Tesla has cameras that watch your eyes to see if you are looking at the road

Like the Tesla SUV that tried to drive off an overpass while in self drive mode with mom and daughter in tow. Plenty of video links

Correct initial response

This is the more important nerd and ag issue.

Earth physics is pretty simple

The greater the mass, the greater the battery (weight) to power that mass. You can do the math but most on here would be put to sleep. In short.

Electric = small (say cars)

Combustion = big (say trucks)

Unless ag folks go with an electric pickup about the size of a Mini Cooper, they have no need for charging stations. Guessing the same with ag equipment like tractors and such. Can you see the lads at State making something like this electric?

You probably were in favor of the communist law that banned the working man from drinking a beer in his truck on the way home from his job at the end of a long hard day. Probably liked that pussy law that made seatbelts mandatory too.

Very well said.
