I feel the same way about Arik Gilbert playing a full season that I do about wearing masks to prevent COVID. It might work, but I highly doubt it.

Hope it works out for him. If he’s gotten past whatever he was dealing with off the field, he likely has a very bright future.

He didn’t quit. He transferred to a better program and scored 2 tds in the spring game

And didn't play in Georgia's national championship season because he's still a major headcase. Better question is UGA ready to not watch him play this season again?

In all seriousness, I hope he has great success. He has immense potential, the only thing stopping him is himself. If Georgia can help him achieve greatness, then congratulations to Georgia and to Arik. Absolutely no hard feelings whatsoever.

He was serious mental issues which we didn’t realize and were not in a position to resolve for him. I wish him well but I don’t ever see him being a major CFB threat or NFL player but who knows. Ricky Williams pulled it off

Arik sort of represents the old LSU program. This is actually the first I have heard of him since last year.

A better question would be "Is Arik Gilbert mentally prepared" ?

I think the young man has some mental issues or something, but no I don't have any vitriol or hatred to him. I hope he figures things out. I never wish that on any player, no matter the sport or team.

Don’t give two shits in the world. We only worry about us. With that said, I wish Arik the best in football and in life.

I think it is Gilbert who needs to be mentally prepared not LSU fans.

LSU fans at least the ones I know could care less about how good he does in football. Most would say he just needs to get his shitt together and become a man mentally. I don't even know if football is really his passion. I think he has talent but he better get tougher mentally to get to the next level. I wish him well.

I think you are mistaking us saying he wouldn’t play last year 100% as sour grapes because we knew objectively he wouldn’t be eligible to play last year because of the whole situation.

Apart from that hope he does well unless we play in ATL by some miracle.
