Are LSU fans mentally prepared to watch Arik Gilbert this year?

Listen, I have no idea how much Arik will contribute this year, but I saw he’s listed in the Top 10 of some mock drafts and he scored 2 TDs in the spring game.
I know last year there were many comments in which some scorned LSU fans hoped for injuries to the young man and there was really just a lot of unnecessary hate and vitriol directed towards a 19 year old boy.
Like I said, I don’t know how much he contributes this year, but I worry about how LSU fans will react. You have to think if he is even somewhat successful we will see some LSU fans lose their cool again.

Great talent, hope things work out for the sake of his happiness in life.

You are not worried about shite partner. Lame arse troll attempt. I hope he does well, cause it probably won't affect LSU one bit.

Better question is if Arik Gilbert is mentally ready to watch Arik Gilbert play.

I dunno, he might could have elevated you to the Birmingham bowl maybe.

Don’t think you have to worry too much about that

Then you are one of the good ones
Some LSU fans were simply out of control last year. I hesitate to link the thread as I try to only spread positive energy but there were several posters hoping for broken limbs. At the end of the day it’s just football.

Those guys are intelligent football fans. They wouldn’t hold a grudge.

Is Arik mentally prepared? I mean you made this thread last pre-season claiming he was and we know how that turned out. You gonna jinx him again?

I simply quoted several players and coaches

We don’t even play Georgia this year. Sure I may catch a few games if not busy, but how well Arik plays will not even be on my radar.

I give zero shits about him! End of story
