Got an alert from DawgNation that Monken just gave an interview. I didn’t even know Arik was mentioned until I clicked on it. I think you’ll find that most CFB fans are interested in that kind of thing
Timeline of events:
Yesterday: LSU fans start nasty rumors that he tried to fight Kirby and isn’t going to practice
Yesterday: UGA releases practice video showing he was at practice
Today: Monken says he’s doing a great job and has adapted well.
I simply think it’s important that we shut down any and all fake news around here

The only time this has even been mentioned was on this website. The rumor on Dawgs 247 was that he wasn’t going to practice, and that was shut down by multiple beat writers and a UGA practice video from Tuesday.

In fairness, if the rumor was true, I doubt Monken's statement would be:
"Arik is making progress at multiple spots and will be a big contributor this year. He did call Kirby a bitch arse mother fricker, but that's to be expected."
With that said, I'd say all the rumors were all BS.
